Feels like all of the alarms are going off, over boiling, kettle whistling and lost control of my bowels.

Then you need a doctor.

Much to my disgust, 245 (I) passed. Much to my disgust, there are Freepers that do not see why this is wrong. If you don't think it is possible to deport illegals, then you have forgotten your history. Look up "Operation Wetback" and President Eisenhower. He sent them all home! The difference. He was a West Point graduate who loved his country and honored his Presidential oath. Unlike George W. Bush. (Regretfully I voted for him to rid the country of the Clinton-Gore disgrace.)

245 i is AN ACT OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ALL LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. I have one in my family. I know before she entered this country to marry my grandson, she had to (1) provide a police report from her home country showing she was a law-abiding citizen not wanted for any crime; (2) provide a physical examination proving she had no communicable disease or major health problem that would burden this country's health care services; and (3) provide a financial sponsor who would ensure she would NOT become a welfare user.

Compare this to the illegal who is allowed to become legal under 245i. No physical, no police report from the home country, and no financial sponsor. So this newly legalized resident could have tuberculosis which is not being treated, could be wanted for a felony in his home country and apply for welfare as soon as he has his green card!

Do you know that EMPLOYERS can sponsor an illegal for this change in status under 245I? So the same employers who have been using illegal aliens can now help them change their status? So we are not only rewarding illegals who enter our country and use fraudulent documents, we are rewarding employers who have been employing them!

If you think this has not affected you, ask yourself who do you think is using your local emergency room for free health care (paid by your taxes). All the illegally employed who do NOT have health insurance!!

We are denying our elderly a drug benefit on Medicare and ask them to pay an ever increasing premium, regardless of their income level, while we give free health care at our emergency rooms to illegals and our county runs "free clinics" for them (paid for by us taxpayers).

My husband's Blue Cross Senior Secure Plan requires him to pay $60 per drug ($60 for his BP med, $60 for his Lipitor) but we give medicine to illegals free.

Some country. Our President is nothing more than country club RINO. He claims to be a conservative but he is not. Conservatives obey and enforce the laws of our land. They do not undermine our Constitution. I am not impressed by his public prayers or his support of the military. He is doing little to provide security here at home! NO SECOND TERM!!

Do you listen to the Terry Anderson radio program? On a recent show, he was talking about how the cost of his elderly mother's medication was raised to $800 a month. The nurse who administered the medication came right out and told Terry that if his mother was an illegal alien, the medication would be free.

Of course she would. Now if we were ALL to renounce our U.S citizenship, could we take advantage of all those FREE benefits?? ;-)

There really doesn't seem to be anything that can be done by voting against politicians that vote against our wishes.
There doesn't seem to be anything that can be done by emailing those same politicians.
There doesn't seem to be anything that can be done by calling the Capitol and railing against this lunacy.
I fear we may see an increase in violence against illegals in the future. There are a lot of frustrated and fearful Americans out there.
There seems to be a backlash coming because the tax paying residents of this nation won't sit by and watch it go on forever.
Just an observation or two from somebody watching the melting pot about to boil over.
The politicians are not leaving a lot of options.

My my, all of that because I said that poster needed a doctor. Don't forget to look under your bed tonight I am sure a Mexican family has already taken up residence there.

Hey, T4, just curious....do you remember how postal everyone went when the bent one and gore legalized all the mexicans so they could vote in the elections??? I seem to remember words like "treason" and "hanging" and "typical unAmerican Democrat tactics." Is my memory faulty, or do you remember that too...???

Texasforever perhaps Vicente Fox has other plans for your state. La Reconquista!

That's the difference between a Texan and you. A Texan does not act like a craven coward when faced with a problem. That is why Texas has very little problem with our immigrants, legal or not. Ya'll cry and whine but leave Texas out of it , we solve our own problems. I am a 10th generation redneck and I don't agree with this amnesty but I sure as hell am not afraid of a bunch of people that mow lawns and was dishes. You wimps need to get a damned grip!

I think 3 million is too many

It ended up being over 3 million last time when they lied and said it would be few hundred thousand "deserving" illegals who had lived many years in the US ---. At least 2 million came over from Mexico just to get in on the amnesty and had not lived here. The fraud was incredibly rampant.

Go to this thread. There are strict provisions this time. I do not think we will have the same problems as last time.

The politicians are not leaving a lot of options.

I agree, so maybe we should all join RanchRescue.com and do the job our elected leaders refuse to do.

I guess we'll see ---I hope you're right. I live in an area that is severely affected by illegal immigration and it's amazing some of the things that go on. We had people knocking on our doors just arrived from Mexico asking us to write a letter claiming we'd hired them for several years and have it notarized so they could get their amnesty ---that's how lax it was.
