I believe that, even in the face of undeniable proof that the Bible is largely false, the political movement will chug right along. Its members seem nearly bullet-proof in terms of anything that runs contrary to their opinion

Please to provide *undeniable proof*.
When the Bible is studied as history, disregarding religion, MOST of the Old Testament and MOST of the New Testament is on the money. The only thing UN-provable is the intervention of HaShem. What is singularly important, however, is that the PEOPLE of the Bible believed with all their hearts and all their souls in such divine intervention and lived in strict confinement to the LAW as written.
As a matter of fact, the Vatican long ago destroyed, or attempted to destroy, the largest repository of knowledge in the known world at the time, which would have included many of the things still being searched for today. What they did not destroy, they hid.
Arab and British Archaeologists have sought to discredit the Bible for many, many years, and the Arabs in particular would not give over any such evidence that would prove Hebrew history, even as they try to destroy all remaining evidence beneath the Teple Mount. Yet evidence HAS emerged, undeniably, that the history is a true one.
It is simply amazing how long stones, tablets, and clay jars containing papyri tend to last when evil doesn't overtake them first.
