Something's a little amiss here... With a nuke, a little amiss does not matter much. The blast area will take care of it.
To: kattracks
Tops on the nuclear hit list are China, Russia, Iraq, North Korea, Iran, Libya and Syria, according to a classified Pentagon report obtained by the Los Angeles Times.Alright, who's going to jail for releasing classified info?

Just nuke North Korea and then the rest will surrender. If not one at a time.

the secret report, given to Congress on Jan. 8 Need I say more...

I'm glad all potential military enemies of America hear this. They need to know they can NEVER have this country without the destruction of EVERYTHING. Give me liberty or give me death.
The good news is the Bible predicted this long ago and said "unless those days are shortened, NO flesh would survive". God is AWESOME, and is the only being in the universe that the word awesome can actually be applied. Everybody says awesome this and awesome that, I say anything man does awfulsome, what God does is AWESOME. Like turning this hell of a place into heaven in 3 1/2 years. Getting closer to eternity every day!!!

Clintoon was telling the world we would simply sit back and 'accept a nuke first strike.' A couple weeks ago Pat Buchannan said the same thing in a television interview.

It's old cold war news with a flashy new headline. My first vote's on someone simply dredging it up for use in an upcoming attempt at a peace rally. Since we know we have plans for these things anyway, you know no one would doubt the info. My second vote goes for Daschle since he was recently bopping around claiming he wasn't told anything. He can now look like he has an alibi- "I see nothing! How could I release it if I didn't know?" And my third votes on the administration to scare the fewmets out of someone in the hopes they will settle for a more or less peaceful solution. Of course the last is risky... the French will be very displeased and the UK Guardian will implode. ; )

"One nuclear expert, John Isaacs, president of the Council for a Livable World," ... "Joseph Cirincione, a nuclear arms expert at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, told the newspaper" Look at this shameful example of media bias. The got two "experts" for the article and both are from radical left wing anti-military anti-nuclear groups.

Alright, who's going to jail for releasing classified info? I'll bet you five bucks that the "leak" was done on purpose.
There's little point in having a nuclear deterrent if the people you're trying to keep in line don't know how ready you are to use it.
This leak was good strategy.

Of the countries mentioned, i.e. "China, Russia, Iraq, North Korea, Iran, Libya and Syria", two were already on a nuclear attack list for decades: China and Russia. The remainder are an extended version of the Axis of Evil club: "Iraq, North Korea, Iran, Libya and Syria".
I add Palm Beach county.

It would appear that Congress was told specifically because it would leak. The plan is useless if the bad guys don't know about it. Bingo! Members of Congress are told only what there is good reason to tell them ("good" meaning: serves the objectives of the intel community and/or executive branch.)

This leak was good strategy. I would agree it is good for those targeted to know that they are. That should be public information. I still maintain, however, that releasing classified information ought to involve hard time.
