I personally know of 25 to 30 votes that President Bush will loose if he goes through with it.
It is a disgrace to our country to even consider this insane act of amnesty for these criminals.
They know damn well what will follow if this comes to pass.

There is no way that I would even consider voting for Bush again.

I can see how one day the Aztlan activists will see their goal of a Chicano only Southwest realized. I wonder if Bush understands that he is setting us up for a Palestinian type situation in a few years? Is his wife the one pushing this? And why can't these families reunite in Mexico?

"I personally know of 25 to 30 votes that President Bush will loose if he goes through with it." I think he may have a few thousand more lost right here on FR. Maybe we should email some of these threads to Bush and the congressional Republicans. I want to support Bush but this development is anathema to most Americans, especially when you condider that a great many non-Mexican mideasterners are gaining access that way as well. If Bush doesn't drop this I'm afraid it is going to cost him big time in the next election. The whole thing is simply counterproductive to the war effort, kinda like giving the enemy a nuke "to be nice" and then telling them not to use it on us.
