This logo was sent to me from someone Deep In the Reno Campaign (DITRC). It was part and parcel of an email that was sent to her supporters throughtout the state.
I believe it needs some Freep Treatment. Perhaps some message on the rear of the truck? Perhaps some balloons from the driver/passenger? Freeper ingenuity needed!
I'm designing a special 0cents Stamp Sheet - No Reno Series and I would love to have one (more?) of the Series depict her Red Truck in some parodic fashion.

Would you like your image to be a
Contributing Artist 0cents Stamp Image. The details are at that link.
If you would, I'll communicate the modifications with you via freepmail. Mostly, they are of the "cleaning up" type.

Amazing how this monster--dirty needle leads a charmed life...isn't hell overflowed--filled! Isn't this overdone-kill?

I believe her sister Margie Hurchalla (former Martin county commissioner)and her brother-in-law purchased the Ford Ranger pick-up for Janet in Stuart,FL. (Martin County). Since the Ranger seems to be an integral part of the campaign, and is being used solely to ferry Reno around, isn't it a campaign contribution?
Next question: Was it recorded as a campaign contribution, is it within the limits of legal contributions in Florida?

this goofy red truck thing - What brand is it, I'd hate to think she'd drive a Ford.
To: Issaquahking
It's advertised as a Ford. Apparently, that is in dispute amongst the Ford experts here on FR.

It is amazing. My gut tells me she will lose the Demonrat primary in September and that will the last we hear of her except for her inevitable speaking tour BS.

I saw that story re: B29. Fascinating. My father-in-law flew one in the Pacific.

RE: NASCAR Sponsors for Janet Reno's pick'em-up:
- Viagra? (Mark Martin #6)
- Rubbermaid? (Kurt Bush's #97)
- Target? (Jimmy Spencer's #41 Dodge)
- Real Tree camouflage? (Dave Marcis' retired #71 Chevy)
- or, yuk, how about Duke's Mayonaise? (Rick Mast's #90 Taurus)

I may be wrong but I thought Reno paid for the truck and her brother-in-law negotiated the deal for her prior to her leaving the DOJ.

How about something derived from this quote, at the end, in response to Reno's people, from one of Gov. Bush's people:
From a St. Pete Times article:
"We knew all along that the governor would have all the support he wanted from the White House," Reno campaign manager Mo Elleithee said. "It looks to me like the governor's starting to feel the heat a little bit. He sees all the traction we're getting, and he wanted to call in the big guns."
Bush campaign spokesman Todd Harris dismissed the link between Reno and the president's visit. "The exhaust from her red truck must be clouding their senses," he said.
LOL....

Thanks, I was nervous for awhile when the server crashed about 5 minutes after I posted that. I thought "man, that old hag has more power than I thought!"

Hey, maybe we can get the NAALCP interested in that design of yours!

I may be wrong but I thought Reno paid for the truck and her brother-in-law negotiated the deal for her prior to her leaving the DOJ. I have no idea. It just struck me as odd that there are now 3 of this famous Ford/not Ford, red truck.
The older not-a-Ford truck, the newer Ford truck, and the totally fictional logo truck. Just like the old Reno DOJ, 3 answers to every question.

Gee, I thought it was more of a desert camo tank/black helicopter tour.

Just like the old Reno DOJ, 3 answers to every question. That was only if it was not "under investigation"!

I'm trying to think of a way to use "if this truck's a rockin' ..."How about this:
If this truck's a rockin'
Rosie and me are a dockin'!
Sorry for the mental image......
