Janet Reno's Red Truck - Captions/Artwork Revisions Needed
Janet Reno's Campaign Email List ^ | March 8, 2002 | Gene McDonald

Posted on 03/08/2002 6:30:47 AM PST by Seeking the truth

This logo was sent to me from someone Deep In the Reno Campaign (DITRC). It was part and parcel of an email that was sent to her supporters throughtout the state.

I believe it needs some Freep Treatment. Perhaps some message on the rear of the truck? Perhaps some balloons from the driver/passenger? Freeper ingenuity needed!

I'm designing a special 0cents Stamp Sheet - No Reno Series and I would love to have one (more?) of the Series depict her Red Truck in some parodic fashion.

Check it out...

I don't think they are the same truck. What's the deal?

Thanks. Yup. That is a Ford Ranger. Not and XLT model like mine I don't think (extend cab). The drawing of the red truck is not a ranger.

They should have called her tour the "Shake, Rattle, and Roll Tour 2002". Might have had more than 6 people show up....

That is a Ford Ranger.

But that is not the same truck in the other picture. The fuzzy truck has brightwork on the doors and it looks like a bowtie on the grill. Certainly not a Blue Oval.

Of course, neither truck looks like the one on the campaign sticker.

The truck in the second pic has chrome door handles and a matching topper.

It also appears to be a darker shade of red...

I bet they don't want her to drive so that no one can get a "wreck" picture like the "falling" pic that we have all seen.

I believe her sister Margie Hurchalla (former Martin county commissioner)and her brother-in-law purchased the Ford Ranger pick-up for Janet in Stuart,FL. (Martin County).

Well, I look at it this way freedomlover: I figure that little fire engine would be just the thing, while she burns out Florida, the way she did the Branch Davidians...

It was a quick and dirty Photodraw exercise. I grabbed a few images off of the web and kluged them together.
