Greenwich observes daylight savings time as well. The time difference in your time zone remains constant unless you live in those areas, Indiana and Arizona IIRC, that do not participate in daylight savings time.

This I do know! I work in GMT. Actually. GMT never changes with the fall and spring time changes. GMT always stays the same. This is why its only 6 hours ahead in Denver during the summer and 7 during the winter. I fact we joke with the newbies in our control center by telling them to update the GMT/Zulu clocks on the daylight savings time change days.

You are correct. GMT remains the same. Great Britain changes to BST, British Standard Time, during the summer and back to GMT in the fall. My error.
