Since the first rebel's yell for America's freedom was heard across this great land, Americans have yearned to keep liberty alive. Today we face numerous challenges to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We have a choice. One is to sit back and do nothing. The other is as our President George W. Bush said at his Inauguration Speech, to become actively involved as citizens. Make our voices heard. Shout it out loud so that Congress can hear our views.

I'm here! Just stopping in for a bump and to say thank you for all of your hard work. AFVetGal, I love your cheerleaders, even the ugly ones. WIMom, you've been wonderful. Grampa Dave, wow, what a heartfelt plea and a wonderful reminder with that beautiful and yes sad picture of the beautiful little girl with the American Flag. Gabz, Bad Joe, Palo, Mo1, Steveeg, BIS, (I'm sure I'm leaving out lots of you and I apologize), thank you so much for pulling 5000% of the load.

I donated before post 100 on the first thread. It feels nice to be able to not feel guilty as I read and post. It astonishes me that it takes so long to raise $80,000 with 80,000 FReepers.

You all deserve a gold star and a special place in the FR Hall of Fame for your hard work.

FReepathon State Challenge: (thanks, 2ndMostConservativeBrdMember, for starting this up so many FReepathons ago)

During every FReepathon, we try to keep track of what each state donates. When you make your donation, let BADJOE know what state it's coming from, and when he reports it, it'll get credited to the state or country of your choice.

If someone from Texas and New York (the remaining top 5 states without a color), any foreign countries and a deployed serviceman wants to see their state/country in color, sing out. It would look so much better than the bold I have now.

There no longer are any states that haven't thrown in some new money, so there's no more Sissy Pink list (for now). If we don't continue to head toward (and hopefully past) $80,000, it will return. I don't want to see that happen (I don't like pink).
