I think you are right. Al Gore will be the Bob Dole of the Dems. They don't want to run a really viable candidate that will get creamed at the polls. If our esteemed GWB is unbeatable, and he will be, and Hillary has made a bid she will manufacture a reason to be released from the run, like a broked neck, bubolic plague or mad cow disease. Gore will pick Al Sharpton as his running mate, as he has not a modicum of common sense and will think it's a really good idea he's had.

He already is. And I don't think they would run a once-loser again, unless they were going to play the whole campaign as "we wuz robbed" and try to erase four years of accomplishments by GWB. 'Course, stranger things have happened, but I gotta think Hillbillary! wants it so bad and sees it slipping away that she will force her way in, unless she wants to flap around the senate for an additional four years after the 2004 election.
