Report: IAF jets bomb Ramallah targets
Israeli Air Forces F-16 jets are bombing Palestinian Authority police headquarters in Ramallah at this hour, according to Palestinian sources.
The sources also said helicopters fired rockets at offices adjacent to PA Chairman Yasser Arafat's compound.
Elsewhere, IDF tanks shelled the PA's General Intelligence Service headquarters in the West Bank village of Salfit earlier this morning, Israel Radio reported.
There are no reports of Palestinian casualties in either strike.
The shelling and air raid come in the wake of this morning's lethal shooting attacks on a civilian convoy and soldiers at an army roadblock near Salfit, as well as another deadly shooting attack in the Gaza Strip.
Nine Israelis were killed - seven soldiers and two civilians - and at least six are wounded after Palestinians opened fire at the roadblock, close to the Samaria community of Ofra.

One Israeli was killed and four wounded, one light to moderately and three lightly, in the Gaza attack.

I dont think so. Israel does not need backup against the PA. I think Israel is holding back to allow America to do what it wants. "Hold your fire till you see the whites of their eyes." Israel could wipe out the PA in a few hours. Heck they took over all the way down to egypt in six days WITH the allied Arab League armys and tanks in the way. Israel could wipe out the west bank as fast as they can drive through it. That is about 20 minutes to the border at 45 miles an hour taking into account the rough terain and bathroom breaks. Of course the IAF would have the terain sterile in the first 10 minutes...
They are wearing flight suits - they are also wearing "Chem Gear" - or protective additions to their flight gear in case of biological or chemical attack.
However I could really relate to having Arafats mug splatted over about 4 square miles. I just hope when they drop him from the plane it is over Egypt where he belongs instead of over Israel, where he has polluted the air enough.
(12:40) Names of Jerusalem bombing victims released
The following are the names and ages of the nine Israelis killed in last night's suicide bombing in Jerusalem:
The Nehmad family: The father Shlomo, 40, mother Gafnit, 32, Shiraz, seven, and Liran, three, from Rishon Lezion.
Shauli, 15, a nephew of the Nehmad family.
Lidor Ilan, 12, his sister Oriya Ilan, one year old.
Sofia Yaarit Eliyahu, 23, and her son Ya'akov Avraham Eliyahu, seven months, from the Beit Israel neighborhood in Jerusalem, the location of the attack.
Four people were in critical condition last night at Jerusalem's Hadassah-University Hospital at Ein Kerem, including an unconscious seven-year-old boy suffering from second-degree burns.
The Palestinians, of course, will declare "vengence" against Israel for this latest "atrocity".
I didn't click on the link, but I see no mention of the babies murdered by a Palestinian suicide bomber last night.
Mar 3: One Israeli was killed and 4 injured Sunday morning when a Palestinian gunman opened fire near the Kissufim crossing in the Gaza Strip. The Islamic Jihad and Tanzim claimed responsibility for the attack.
Mar 2: Ten people were killed and over 50 were injured in a suicide bombing at 19:15 on Saturday evening near a yeshiva in the ultra-Orthodox Beit Yisrael neighborhood in the center of Jerusalem where people had gathered for a bar-mitzva celebration. The terrorist detonated the bomb next to a group of women waiting with their baby carriages for their husbands to leave the nearby synagogue. The Fatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade took responsibility for the attack.
The victims of the suicide bombing in Jerualem: - Shlomo Nehmad (40), his wife Gafnit (32), and their daughters Shiraz (7) and Liran (3), of Rishon Lezion; - Shaul Nehmad (15), nephew of Shlomo and Gafnit; - Tzofit Eliyahu (23) and her son Ya'akov (7 months), of Jerusalem; - Lidor Ilan (12) and his sister Oriya (18 months), of Jerusalem. - The name of the 10th victim, who died of his injuries on Sunday, has not yet been released.
Mar 2: The bullet-ridden body of Jerusalem police detective Chief-Supt. Moshe Dayan, 46, of Ma'aleh Adumim, was discovered Saturday evening next to his trail motorcycle, near the Mar Saba Monastery in the Judean Desert. Tanzim claimed responsibility for the attack.
Kassam II rocket confiscated by IDF in Balata refugee camp (Mar 1)
IDF forces have redeployed outside the Balata and Jenin refugee camps, from which the majority of recent terrorist attacks have emanaged. In the course of operation which began on February 28, St.-Sgt. Haim Bachar, 20, of Tel Aviv and Sgt. Ya'acov Avni, 20, of Kiryat Ata were killed by Palestinian fire. - IDF Spokesman - Feb 28, 2002
Well said.
Does anyone else remember that al-Qaeda terrorists were in the process of moving back to Lebanon and PA controlled territories over a month ago? Coincidence? I think not.
I'll give you three guesses as to whose fault it is for the terrorism....but I think you'll get it on the first one.
I use to keep up with the events even when they were one a day but lately they are coming too fast. too many in one day.
I can't even imagine living under those conditions. May God give wisdom to these leaders to defend and maintain freedom. I would be proud to join in with Israel against this evil.
Will this subhuman attack perhaps open the eyes of the peacnics and liberals in Israel? I doubt anything could open some eyes, particularly in the U.S., but surely the message must be getting through to quite a few that there will be no peace until the muslim terrorists are all killed, their children ceased to be indoctrinated, and all understand that this BS will not be tolerated.
The terrorists appear to want to provoke an all-out Israeli attack. Why? Do they think that world opinion/sympathy would then be all on their side and Israel would thereby be the real loser? Do they hope for jihad, muslims against non-muslims in a big showdown? What's their game, or are they so rabid they don't really have one except to kill, kill, kill?
Oh, really. So tell us: Where are the half-a-million ChiCom troops in Panama? Where are the 100,000 ChiCom troops in Afghanistan?
