It says a great deal about academic tolerance that UCLA is being pressured to rescind a speaking invitation to first lady Laura Bush.

Protesters say she lacks adequate credentials to deliver the commencement address at the university's Graduate School of Education and Information Services.

I believe UCLA will disgrace itself if it rescinds its commencement invitation to First Lady Laura Bush -- who is an outstanding first lady and a highly accomplished woman in her own right.

That school's student body owes her an apology.

UCLA is not worthy to hear from Laura Bush. These people haven't the intelligence to understand what she would say anyway. Laura should spend her time with a group that has been educated.

Based on their protesters' inane remarks, I am wondering if they even know her professional credentials:

Protesters say she lacks adequate credentials to deliver the commencement address at the university's Graduate School of Education and Information Services.

"She was selected for her political celebrity," one student complained. "The speaker should speak to us based on achievements in the field."

I heard on O'Reilly last week that Mrs. Bush turned down the offer to speak at UCLA.

Let's see. Mrs. Bush has a Masters Degree.

And these young women think that she is not qualified to speak to them about achievement?

> Pack your bags...bimboo's....Spring Break is calling you.

And, I hear, that FORMER Presidnt Clinton is looking for attractive youn' thins' to "work?" in his office.

'Specially those than keep theze mouths shut".

UCLA is a pretty good school. These days there are jerks everywhere in academia. But there are a lot more of them at Berkeley.

UCLA is disgraced, no matter what Mrs. Bush does. I see no way anyone there can redeem the school.

It is my understanding that Mrs. Bush backed out of the speaking engagement anyhow.

Good for her.

Why should she waste her time casting pearls before swine?

I can imagine Mrs. Clinton's creditials which includes evasive speaking skills used at federal grand jury testimony;
human relationship skills from kissing and hugging Mrs. Arafat after her vindictive and inflamatory remarks against Jews;
great marital relationship skills used to increase her own power by remaining married to her philandeering-impeached-contempt of court-loss of law license-president who she is rarely seen with other than campaign fund raisers;
strong arming athletic skills gained by throwing lamps and ashtrays in the White House ;
interior decorating skills from removing White House property for her own home decorations;
great creative mind skills in developing the VRWC;
animal behavior skills learned from declawing her family cat Socks and taking such great compassionate care of her dog Buddy, may he RIP;
and last but not least her beauty and fashion skills are unparalled as she stares bug eyed at you while flashing about town in her career making black pantsuits are far more agreeable to the intolerant leftists.
