I too love our type of government, perhaps that's why I along with almost every male member of my family has served in the armed forces all the way back to the Revolution.
That however does not change the fact that it is made up of people. People who want to know your business because they live shallow, petty lives. People who will say, but "what do you have to hide", and I will say "until I break a law what I do is none of your business."

Man that's scary! Even scarier, most sheeple will bleat in approval if they can be convinced it will save them a few pounds a year.
Did you ever see John Lucas' first film "THX-1138"?

I rarely make it to a movie theater. Last time was "Behind Enemy Lines". Prior to that was "The Patriot". I can't recall the one before "The Patriot". The theater that I patronized has been turned into a Vietnamese market in Mira Mesa (Mira Mesa 7). The Mira Mesa 4 has been torn down. There just isn't enough good stuff coming out of Hollywood to convince me to part with $$ to view in a theater. THX 1138 is not one of the movies I've taken time to see. I've watched 2 hours of broadcast TV this year. The constant spew of democrat political advertising made that a less than pleasant experience. The TV makes a fine dust collector and paperweight.
