Hate crime suspected in attacks in Ballard: 4 men crashed party, beat up 'white guys'

Seattle police are trying to track down four Hispanic men for possible hate-crime charges after they crashed a house party in Ballard early yesterday and trounced several white guests because they felt like "beating up some white guys," police said.

A 17-year-old Crown Hill boy suffered head and body injuries and remained in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center yesterday.

Partygoers at the house in the 1500 block of Northwest 60th Street told police that the four, in their 20s, showed up uninvited about 12:30 a.m. All were dressed alike in blue FUBU-brand jackets and black pants.

A teenage girl was holding the party in her home because her mother was out of town, police said. No one knew the four men.

One of the men asked a partygoer, a 21-year-old black man, "Do you feel like beating some white guys?" according to a police report.

The black man said no and stepped out back to smoke. When he came back inside, he told police, he saw the men jump the white Crown Hill teen, knock him to the floor and punch and kick him repeatedly.

Another partygoer tried to help the teen, but the attackers punched him in the face several times, police said. Several other guests also were punched, police said.

The attackers left the Crown Hill teen lying on the front steps and ran to a red or maroon Toyota Corolla, witnesses said. Then two came back and kicked the teen in the head a few more times. Then they all sped off in the car.

Police say the girl who hosted the party could be charged with alcohol possession. After sending everyone home, officers collected about 50 beer and liquor bottles from the house.

I blame it, in no small part, on conditioning. As with so much of the rot in society, it can be traced to entertainment. The Black male has been made into an American cultural archetype; swaggering, muscular, combatative, virile. The media image presented is that of the classic Alpha Male. How do White kids relate to this? Well, they can go a couple of ways. They can become Whiggers, and ape the mannerisms, language, and tribal fashions of their perceived betters.

Or they can join the victim class, so that they have effectively lost the fight before the first punch has even been thrown. In today's cultural climate, the Black adolescent male has the "moral advantage" of being able to instill fear simply because of who he is.

The alternative is to fight back, both culturally and physically (when necessary). To do this successfully, it is first necessary to discard the archetypes that are being forced upon us through media indoctrination.

Question is: How does one fight back or reject the conventional "wisdom" notions without being labeled a racist and thereby diminished de facto? It's dicey enough even discussing these topics on this Forum much less in the "real world". I fear folks are already too brainwashed for any positive results in the near term. The only folks who are willing to take a stand are naturally folks that even I consider extremists. I still think that aside from the excellent distillation you opined that the lack of a Euro-American Identity is part of the problem. Simply put...whites feel no tribal loyalty hardly at all. I'm not even sure we should but it seems we act only out of reaction or defensively...that is those of us who do act at all.

It's obvious from even my own hesitation that the indoctrination of white America has infected even myself making me more defensive about my feelings about racial conflict that I instinctively feel I should harbour. It's vexing...along with abortion and RKBA....the Balkanization of our nation is part of the Holy Trinity of my cultural concerns as a Conservative.

Well, here I must say "yes and no." Although I have no sociological credentials, my understanding of the problem is this:

European-Americans can trace their ancestors to at least three generations, and that's without doing any serious genealogical research. Virtually anyone of European extraction could, with only minimal difficulty, trace his forefathers back to the 1600s. Because of this, it is not uncommon for a "White" American to claim that his folks are from Umbria or Swabia, Yorkshire or Connaught. And, after generations of intermarriage, it is still normal for people to acknowledge proportions of ancestry, such as "Half German, half Scots." Numerous correspondents on this site can rattle off their ancestry down to their great-grandparents (and often do so in threads dealing with slave-reparations).

The point I am making, in my own circuitous way, is that European-Americans do not perceive themselves to be "White" because that is, in itself, a meaningless term to anyone who is genuinely connected with his ethnic and cultural roots. People who claim first and foremost to be "White" are the truly marginal; they are folks living at the fringes of society whose only claim to identity is, in fact, their "White"-ness.

They are, in fact, the mirror image of those American Blacks who are descended from slaves, and who therefore have no real way of tracing their ancestry. The latter cannot plausibly claim to be Watusi or Bantu, or anything else; thus the African-American is sui generis. He is part of a self-defining "tribe" whose culture and folkways have no basis in tradition, but, rather, are a concoction brewed up by Hollywood, MTV, and Madison Avenue. Hence the need to create traditions out of whole cloth. Hence Kwanzaa.

I find the idea of a "White" identity just plain silly. It does not, and should not, reflect the European cultural heritage. One of the great beauties of European culture is its diversity - not in the Leftist PC sense, but in the Chestertonian sense of distributivism. A Burgundian is not a Gascon, and a Prussian is not a Bavarian. Nor should they be. And to lump them all into a bastard-default catagory of "White" is, paradoxically, the ultimate de-racination.

So what's my solution? If you are Irish or Scots, get into the whole Highland games culture. If you are German, join or found a Liederkranz. And so forth, for all of the European cultures. "White Power" movements are a waste of time and energy. Let "White folks" cultivate the cultures of their noble ancestors and they will be just fine. As I suggested earlier, rampaging Negroes are not usually found at St. Patrick's Day Parades. There is a reason for that: real "tribal" pride DOES exist. The enemy knows this, and slinks into the shadows whenever such pride is displayed.
