Seattle police are trying to track down four Hispanic men for possible hate-crime charges after they crashed a house party in Ballard early yesterday and trounced several white guests because they felt like "beating up some white guys," police said.
A 17-year-old Crown Hill boy suffered head and body injuries and remained in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center yesterday.
Partygoers at the house in the 1500 block of Northwest 60th Street told police that the four, in their 20s, showed up uninvited about 12:30 a.m. All were dressed alike in blue FUBU-brand jackets and black pants.
A teenage girl was holding the party in her home because her mother was out of town, police said. No one knew the four men.
One of the men asked a partygoer, a 21-year-old black man, "Do you feel like beating some white guys?" according to a police report.
The black man said no and stepped out back to smoke. When he came back inside, he told police, he saw the men jump the white Crown Hill teen, knock him to the floor and punch and kick him repeatedly.
Another partygoer tried to help the teen, but the attackers punched him in the face several times, police said. Several other guests also were punched, police said.
The attackers left the Crown Hill teen lying on the front steps and ran to a red or maroon Toyota Corolla, witnesses said. Then two came back and kicked the teen in the head a few more times. Then they all sped off in the car.
Police say the girl who hosted the party could be charged with alcohol possession. After sending everyone home, officers collected about 50 beer and liquor bottles from the house.
Yeah... if they weren't white this would NOT have happened to them. It's their fault...
And what, with so many danger averse cops in the field today who's primary objective is avoiding potentially risky encounters...

Don't know about your part of south GA, but in mine they're already here and doing the same thing... mostly theft & welfare fraud so far, but hey, give 'em time
Last summer, I was riding the bus and a group of blacks started verbally assaulting the white driver because they felt he was "disrespectful" to one of them.
They physically threatened him in various ways and they got off the bus JUST as the police arrived.
Me and the bus driver were explaining what happened and POINTING to the guys that were walking away and the police just stared at us and wouldn't even LOOK at the guys we were pointing to. It was as if they just wanted to keep us talking long enough so that the punks got away and they wouldn't have to confront them.
I didn't want or expect the police to arrest them but I at least wanted the police to engage them so these guys knew that people were watching and that people would report them and stand up to them.
The police did nothing and I felt truly helpless.
I now understand that the police will do nothing to protect me.
That does not always happen. Sometimes, it makes people weaker.
Out east, where I am, drug stores and convience stores started posting signs about arresting and prosecuting and video monitoring criminals in Spanish.
And to think, I'd be considered a bigot if I drew any conclusion.
Don't they know that diversity is the opposite of university? Universities were about bringing people together in pursuit of knowledge. E plusbus unum, means from many come one. Unity is the opposite of diversity.
Traditionalist, I see. That works for me. Actually, I can name a large number of similar pains I'd be in favor of inflicting on these thugs.
