Those who are most offended are those who find themselves washed in the light of truth for which they themselves must hide. Jesus was a very strong light and his death was ment to extinguish that light.

I would say that even with a loose interpretation the definition stands true.

I would say that even with a loose interpretation the definition stands true. Absolutely.
BTW: If you have an opportunity, can you create a Q and A format discussing the use of the word pervert when referring to SADs?
Shalom.

Sure.
Q: Can I call homosexuals perverts?
A: Yes!
I'll work on the comprehensive list but feel free to use this as an outline.

But I didn't write their names down and don't remember who they are right now.
--Argee I have no specific recollection

What some third party may or may not be is not germaine to any discussion between OWK and me... And yet you feel no particular restraint in discussing "the perverts" here, without any reference to who you speak of.
Go figure

I didn't say there were any here...
He did.

Actually JMJ333 said that and argee relayed the message to you. JMJ333 is not here but you need to ask her. Even if we do think there are perverts here it is not our responsibility to point them out to you or anyone else. You will make your own decisions just as we will make ours.

Well done, ArGee! This is one for the bookmarks.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is SASU?
To: Khepera
Is there a difference between homosexuals and liberals?

SASU = Straight Americans Speaking up. Not limited to the discussion of homosexuals but at this time we are mostly on that topic. We are also interested in other issues besides sexual immorality such as free speech and Gun control, public education and abortion to name a few.

and bump just about every thread you participate in to a list of people who are fixated on homosexuals.
Funny, but you seem to show up early and often on all of these threads as well. One would think that such a devoted libertarian had bigger fish to fry, considering our government on every level has adopted policies utterly abhorrent to libertarianism. With all the work there is for you folks to do, one would think you wouldn't have the time to waste on such a trivial subject....
To: John O; Argee
Hey, don't worry about OWK. He mayn't realize it but he's actually helping your cause. He's bumped this thread about 50 times. If not for his smart-assed, sanctimonious, know-it-allism, I probably wouldn't have seen this very worthy thread at all. Keep in mind that OWK is an evangelical libertarian. Think of him as somenone trying to 'convert' you to his religion and he becomes a lot easier to deal with.
Excellent work, OWK!

Excellent. Count me in.

Part of the function of our society is to maintain norms of interaction that will allow us to survive. LOL. You mis-spelled "government." What people who advocate "society's" role in defining what behavior should and should not be punished and squashed are really saying is that they want men with guns to impose their will on the rest of society.
That means government. And government's role is not to tweak and govern behavior such that we are left with the theocratic utopia that some authoritarians salivate over.
Government's role is to protect the rights of its citizens. And it is not a right to be free from members of society who practice "offensive" behavior. The government is not God and is not responsible for punishing sinful behavior so that you can feel smug and righteous.
"Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord." God claims that job. Let him have it.

A: A 'monogomous' SAD couple were responsible for the rape and torture of Jesse Dirkhising. Rape would disqualify them as being "monogomous" wouldn't it?
Have you bothered to read your own talking points? I think they need a little work.

Your argument lacks merit because you want the same thing. You want men with guns to force us to live like you want us to live. Very hypocritical of you.

You want men with guns to force us to live like you want us to live. That is absolutely false. The government's job is not to tell anyone how to live. It is to defend your rights. It is not to keep you safe, prevent people from doing things that offend you or create the perfect society.
By allowing government to set the standards for society you are actually part of the problem. Government will NEVER agree to your views on what society will be. They will come to some consensus which furthers their own power. That's what they do. So, perhaps for about 15 minutes they'll do things exactly the way you like, and then off they'll go on another tangent.
This same government that you expect to create the perfect sinless society for you today won't even allow a mother into a clinic to talk to her 16 year old daughter and prevent her from murdering her child.
But for some bizarre reason you think that they'll do your bidding and punish homosexuals.
Absurd. "Government is not reason, it is force! Like fire a dangerous servant and a terrible master." - George Washington.
