OK, I'll bite. How does the state take "affirmative action" to increase the deer population? And isn't the control of the deer population, via hunting, anathema to the PETA and other animal-rights-type-folks?

And how do they know the animal wasn't just out taking his daily stroll when they so wantonly and cruelly took his life with their weapon of choice--their Honda? Perhaps New Jersey would be better off just banning Hondas. Or better yet, PETA wackos.

This is amazing. If the accident had happened to anyone else, PETA whackos would have decried the driving of the car through the deers "habitat", and tried to ban autos down that road.

Since it happened to one of THEM, however, it couldn't be their fault! Hypocrisy at its finest!

BTW, anyone ever think to clue them in that the fastest way to reduce deer population size, and by far the most effective way, is by hunting?

SAVE THE CARS! SHOOT THE DEER!

Shortly before 1 o’clock in the morning on that date, while driving a Honda Civic belonging to PETA ...

If they had been driving an SUV, like they were supposed to, this wouldn't have been a big deal. Kill the deer, keep going. That would have made PETA happy. ???

Does anyone know what exactly the State of NJ was doing "actively" to increase the deer population? Were they, say, putting out grain for deer food? What is PETA's accusation, exactly?

These PETAphiles are just beyond rational.

I wish I had their home addresses. I'd love to arrange for some venison to be delivered.
