The novel, Dragon's Fury - Breath of Fire, volume one of a five part series about a future Third World War between the West (the United States and our allies) and an unholy union of Red China, her allies and the fundamental Islamic Nations, continues to progress.
This thread is an update/status to those who have purchased the book and those who may have interest in the series.
To date approximately 300 novels have beend sold. Well over half of those are illustrated trade paperbacks and the rest a mixture of MSReader, AdobeReader and Activ Ebooks ... all of which are for sale at the web site, or at various stores.
Recently, all of the Hastings Books stores in the Boise area agreed to stock the book and run an "Author's Signing" day at each store through March. These include:
Hasting's Books at Overland and Five Mile, Boise, ID
Hasting's Books at Fairview and Cole, Boise, ID
Hasting's Books at Idaho and Apple, Boise, ID
I hope to extend that to all Hasting's throughout Idaho and ultimately into Utah before making a general proposal to Hastings for a larger, regional and then national stocking. Several companies that frequent gun shows have also started purchasing the book to sell and a number of other local stores are carrying the book.
The Book can also be ordered:
... or through
AMAZON BOOKS (Trade paperback, need some reviews in there)
AMAZON BOOKS (Adobe Reader, need some reviews in there)
or at:
BARNES AND NOBLES (Trade paperback, need some reviews there too)
or at B. Dalton Book stores (owned by Barnes and Nobles) (though they are not stocking it). Please use the following ISBN number:
My agent with Waterside Productions continues to be very positive and has manuscripts in the hands of several large publishers.
I have started writing the second volume, "Trodden Under" and hope to produce and publish it in the May time frame.

Here's one back at you ... BUMP
Amen to that. Thanks for the "good luck" sentiments. We'll just keep pluggin'!
May it continue to make that kind of progress!
Now, maybe it only had to sell four or five books to do that ... but nonetheless, may it continue to make that kind of progress!
I went to the web site again. I love how you have made it so easy to order and the titles of the books show up so clearly.
It is an honor to know you on here.
Duck- Just put the check in the mail, book will show up.
Finished reading a couple of weeks ago. Great read, but half way through, realizied it would evolve into a multi-book read. Waiting for the rest.
FYI, I am well into Chapter One of Book Two and will be starting Chapter Two next week.
FYI, I just posted THIS review on the Amazon.com website:
Ron, you rated this:It is a modified version of the review that I already had posted on YOUR website>Tom Clancy meets "Left Behind" and "Enduring Freedom"
I recently got your new in the mail, and just finished reading it.
WONDERFUL!!!As others have noted, your writing style strongly evokes Tom Clancy, and I **LOVE** the idea that there will be MORE books arriving at regular intervals - just like the "Left Behind" series!!
I cannot WAIT for the next installment!
While writing about the near-term future involves the significant dangers of having events in the "real world" overtake your fiction, you have MASTERFULLY adapted your fiction to the realities of 9/11.
THANK YOU for creating such a POWERFUL warning about military and economic threats - from both Red China and the Islamic fundamentalists - which we have thus far escaped, perhaps only for the want of strong leaders in these important areas of the world.
Keep up the GREAT work!!!
