I occasionally like porn, myself. But oddly enough I seldom get "adult content" emails. But you get hundreds? Kinda makes me wonder what "system" they use to determine who they send stuff to.

I get a lot of other junk mail. I just delete it. Every once in a while, something worthwhile comes along. My brain is a more than adequate "filter".

I am glad that the poster called for consumer action, rather than government action. Nice to see people taking care of themselves, for once.

I'm sorry to hear that. The eyes and ears are windows to the soul--what you see and hear affects your behavior--and porn degrades women to the status of dogs. I wish you had more respect for us--and that some women had more respect for themselves.

re your post#74: I don't like porn. I don't care whether you like it or not; I don't want it in my face.

I do not get "hundreds" of porn e-mail daily. I get several hundred or more e-mails per day. I run a few Christian and conservative web sites. Needless to say, being a Christian, conservative female is not politically correct. My web sites generate a lot of e-mail.

I used to spend hours a day writing to isps and e-mailers asking them not to send me those e-mails. I use the delete button quite a bit. I use controls that monitor my e-mail. Frankly speaking, I don't have time anymore to personally address the unsolicited bulk e-mailers, the spammers, and the smut-spammers. That is why I posted a short list of useful resource links along with my commentary. Knowledge is power.

By the way, you said, "My brain is a more than adequate 'filter'." Well, so is mine, but you missed the point of my commentary. Use your brain to comprehend what has happened to our society and understand that we are mired in the filthy muck of perversion. Remember Rome.
