And it's still used to mean happy and whatever, just not very often. Look words have double meanings. Get used to it. If I refer to a vegetable I'm probably refering to a plant that is judged edible but most Americans don't eat enough of, or I could be refering to a crippled person. You've got to go by context, if I say "no vegetables on my pizza" I'm probably not referring to gimps. There's just no way around that kind of stuff. And some words get taken over by a subsection of society, you gotta be careful who you're around before announcing that you're going to buy a joint, lid or key. Handle it.

"Adult Content" is just more evidence of a rotting society. Our prime time sit coms would make a sow blush. Unfortunately, most lame-brain, uninvolved, "I gotta be cool at any cost" parents don't monitor what their kids watch, listen to or do. The whole culture suffers as a result. Flame Away!

Get used to it.... Handle it.

It's interesting that people say things like "get used to it," or "handle it," when they don't have any facts to back up their proclamations. As if those phrases can somehow force us to accept what you're saying.

Just an observation, but it's also interesting that those terms tend to show up most from the fingers of those who are busily defending pornography and denouncing those "church women" who are against it.

Sounds like a little kid who threatens to do something stupid, "and you can't stop me." About on a par with those who can equate pornography with adult behavior.
