A large part of the problem is that sending spam is free to the sender. I have been innundated lately by Chinese language spam, more than the sex spam. And I find it just as irritating. BTW, there is no reason for anybody on this planet to have the notion that I read Chinese.

re post #5: I find that the foreign country spam and viruses sent to me via e-mail tend to run in cycles. I believe that most of the foreign country e-mail is spam/bulk e-mail being sent out with no regard as to the recipient is.

Spam? what is spam? I thought it was some meat look a like, or as we pilots say, spam is short for spamcan, or certificated aircraft. I get no spam, but I get a lot of ridicule for being on AOL. Go figure, and, I've got the same E-mail address I had oh, let's say last century! Sorry for the rant, but spam is just not a problem for me under Mother AOL's wing. Any other AOL people have spam problems?
