A program that really bugs me is WWF wrestling. It is very popular with teenagers. I have a 12 [almost 13] year old son, and he goes to a private Catholic school, and many of those children are allowed to watch that program in its entiretly. If those kids do, then you know public school children are also. I sat down and watched it with my kid to determine its suitability and found that they are pushing the following:

1] Prostitution--One wrestler is named "The Godfather" and he comes out with the "Ho train." These women wear very little. A wrestler will occasionally brag that the Godfather had hooked him up and it was "all good."

2] Homosexuality--One pair of wrestlers are "friendly" with each other and their preference toward each other is stressed.

3] Degredation of women--The daughter Stephanie is constantly greeted by a crowd chanting "slut" at her. There is also the fact that all the women on the show look like porn stars, with the exception of one, and even she wears her pants pulled down so low that you can see her g-string.

4] Violence against women--I've seen several women get power bombed by guys, or hit. I understand its just pretend, but youth are impressionable.

5] Degredation of human beings--One wrestler gives what's called a "stink face." He's this big Samoan guy with a huge rear-end. He wears one of those sumo outfits--then when his opponent falls down in the corner he goes over and smashes his butt in the guys/girls face. That is perverse--Jerry Springer type garbage.

This show comes on 3 times a week and is sold out everywhere it goes. This is what we're up against. We've got to take back our roots and stand up for truth before we collapse internally.

re post#34: After you watched it, I assume that you either pulled the plug on your Tv or modified your children's viewing habits.

If you follow the WWF, you'd know that Stephanie McMahon plays her role of Queen Bitch quite well. She is loved in her role as much as she is hated by the fans.

Violence against women--I've seen several women get power bombed by guys, or hit. I understand its just pretend, but youth are impressionable.

Most of the female wrestlers could snap most of the guys I know in half. You might want to take the time to explain to your kids that these people know how to take "bumps" (falls) and know how to take hits. Oh, wait, then you'd have to actually parent them.

We've got to take back our roots and stand up for truth before we collapse internally.

Whose this we? The government? How about you start in your own house and not let your kid watch it?

Don't count on it. There are those horrible Freepers here who love that WWF trash, and that one who likes posting this lovely picture...

Why are these people allowed to stay here? They obviously aren't the kind of people who we want with us trying to build a better, more moral and godly America.

That is their parent's choice. I watched it for years.

1] Prostitution--One wrestler is named "The Godfather" and he comes out with the "Ho train." These women wear very little. A wrestler will occasionally brag that the Godfather had hooked him up and it was "all good."

What? That is so over the top. The guy goes out wearing a hat and cane. Do you think they are really pushing that stuff? C'mon.

2] Homosexuality--One pair of wrestlers are "friendly" with each other and their preference toward each other is stressed.

What? Billy and Chuck? What? They are HEELS(Bad guys) because they act that way. The crowd boos them. That's not exactly promoting homosexuality. I could care less one way or the other on that, but the show does not push that.

3] Degredation of women--The daughter Stephanie is constantly greeted by a crowd chanting "slut" at her.

There's a story behind that. HHH used to be a heel. Stephanie was supposed to get married to "Test"(who used to be a good guy). She kicked Test to the curb for HHH. That's when the crowd started chanting that.

There is also the fact that all the women on the show look like porn stars, with the exception of one, and even she wears her pants pulled down so low that you can see her g-string.

I've seen a lot worse.

4] Violence against women--I've seen several women get power bombed by guys, or hit. I understand its just pretend, but youth are impressionable.

And what happens...the crowd boos them. What's the best way to get a guy hated in the crowd? Hit a woman. It's not right. The crowd knows it's not right, and that's why they boo.

ROFL. It's a guy's soap opera. This show comes on 3 times a week and is sold out everywhere it goes. This is what we're up against. We've got to take back our roots and stand up for truth before we collapse internally.

No, you're not up against it. Linda McMahon is a republican. Oh, It's true. It's true. Jerry Lawler also said right there that he wasn't voting for Gore-Lieberman. Jim Ross and Lawler also called on Gore to concede.

Anyway, there was a tagteam called right to censor awhile back. It's dedicated to pro-censor fascists like Joe Lieberman.

If you don't want to watch, that's is your decision. If you don't want your kid to watch, that is your decision and I'd make the same choice.

However, I will continue to watch it, and that's my choice.
