Don't laugh! A friend of mine had an uncle who drove his dead wife from FL to Buffalo, NY (she had died while they were on vacation), because he was too cheap to pay for shipping her body. When he stopped at a motel for the night, he just left her out in the car. I imagine he made the trip with the windows rolled down.
