Wrong. NBC has the Winter and Summer Olympics broadcast rights sown up for at least a decade. Also, the ratings are superb. In the midst of February sweeps, NBC is smashing everyone else. Last night it was triple the nearest competitor. That's on a night when NBC has been roughed up badly by the other networks. If anything, the controversy will have even more people watching the ice dancing to see if the judges go ahead and fix it.

I've been thinking that NBC SHOULD be crushing the competition because the competition doesn't seem to be putting anything worthwhile up against it. The competition has at times been putting reruns up against NBC.

BTW, talking about a FIX! -- how is it that the Nielsen people award NBC huge ratings that affect the cost of advertising future shows in specific timeslots, when the network is broadcasting the Olympics and not their usual tripe?
