DJ FBI/Terror Alert -2: Attack May Come Early As Tuesday
WASHINGTON (AP)--The FBI issued an extraordinary terrorist alert Monday night, asking law enforcement and the American public to be on the lookout for a Yemeni man and several associates who might be plotting a terrorist attack as early as Tuesday.
The FBI scrambled to put the warning out after information emerged that one or more people were involved. Officials said the intelligence, while deemed credible, was not specific about possible targets.
The alert identified one possible attacker as Fawaz Wahya al-Rabeei, a Yemeni national born in Saudia Arabia in 1979. It listed about a dozen associates of al-Rabeei.

"...Under no circumstances are we to be insensitive and look for people who appear to be of Middle Eastern extraction. That just wouldn't be fair..." What's the FBI plan?
Bring the hammer down on every Eskimo they see and hope the sand fleas have disguised themselves as Nanook of the North?

If true, one has to wonder with it being Lincoln's birthday tomorrow, if these terrorist jackoffs would hit something like the Lincoln Memomorial. Let's pray they are found before anything does happen.

Not a joke. That's the sad thing about these "alerts." They are so nebulous and come so often that they have gotten to be funny.

Bush Issues New Threat to Iran, Iraq, N.Korea
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Reuters) -
President Bush issued a new warning to Iraq, Iran and North Korea on Monday, saying the United States had a mission to stop nations developing weapons of mass destruction from teaming up with terrorists.
"This president is not going to allow regimes such as Iran, Iraq and North Korea to threaten our way of life," Bush said in a fund-raising speech in Milwaukee for Wisconsin Gov. Scott McCallum.
Bush, who earlier this month described the three countries as the "axis of evil", said threats to America did not emanate only from "the terrorist organizations that hate freedom and kill in the name of religion".
"Our mission also includes countries which develop weapons of mass destruction -- nations with a history of brutality. If they are ever able to mate up with terrorist organizations the free world will be threatened."
In an earlier speech at the Medical College of Wisconsin, he said the United States had to "seize the moment".

They may be pulling our chains, but I'll look out.
I'm taking a business trip via airline very soon. I pity the fool who wants to pull something on that flight. I'm ready to pummel, but that's nothing compared to my travel mate. This guy was in the Marines and he once stopped a mugging (his own) at gunpoint. I'll follow his lead.

Only in Clinton/Hollywood version of America is the world a perfect place. We strive to do what we can with what we have....and what we have is in serious need of mental, spiritual and physical reconditioning. Just listen to the White House press corps. Lord help us.

In response to this alert, you can bet that our intrepid airport screeners will pay special attention to 85 year old white old ladies in order to ensure that they are not accused of "racial profiling."
I'm sure we all feel safer already.

Fox News just reported that info was gathered both at Guantanemo Bay and in Afghanistan from detainees and did specifically say February 12. The FBI will be releasing photos later this evening.
