[sighs]
The news channels I saw are reporting that France is calling for the EU to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state during the 2/18 meeting in just a few days.
Perhaps the bold French plan is for the Jews to surrender to Arafat just hope for the best...

On Saturday, EU External Relations Commissioner Chris Patten said President Bush's branding of Iraq, Iran and North Korea as an "axis of evil" was "deeply unhelpful." Guess what? We deeply don't care....

European Union Touts Plan for Palestinian State Really, it should be renamed 'European Bundle':
Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

France is calling for the EU to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state Boy these spineless Euros will do anything to appease the rioting, raping and robbing Arab marauders who are holding their countries hostage.

Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Pique, the meeting's chairman... I just know you have a picture handy...

More laughable hot air from Europe. They're less relevant to the world now than perhaps at any time since the Dark Ages and they know it; it's the tragic result of two debilitating World Wars. Fortunately the grown-ups are hard at work on the problems at hand.

>We deeply don't care....I certainly second that. But to my eyes it looks like there's a lot going on behind the scenes here.
1) The media is giving lots of coverage to these heads of states' criticism of Bush.
2) US officials are rather quiet about criticism and they are rather quiet about the French activism.
The article explicitly says, "The United States has scaled back its involvement in the region..." This leads me to believe that the US may be backing out semi-officially knowing that France will step in. Perhaps France has the tacit approval of the US for this unpleasant initiative...

>Boy these spineless Euros will do anything to appease the rioting, raping and robbing Arab marauders who are holding their countries hostage. And, amazingly, they even say so!
Javier Solana, the EU's chief foreign and security [!] chief, said there can be no peace in the Middle East without putting "politics back at the center of gravity," rather than cracking down on militants.
Apparently they've decided to super-size their to-go order of insanity...

Palestinian Leader Yasser Arafat laughs during an interview by Israeli TV channel Two, at his office in the West Bank town of Ramallah, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002. There was no immediate reaction from Israel or the Palestinians to the EU's guidelines. But they appeared likely to be rejected by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon...<<< I am sure Sharon rolled his eyes and held back from laughing at the degenerates from Europe. That does not qualify as an immediate reaction?

He's thinking> Darn those pesky Jew bastards keeping me stuck in Ramallah where I can't hobnob with the Euros and my Arab brothers. Damn Damn Damn I'm going stir crazy Damn. France is calling for the EU to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian stateThe Euros are desperately trying not to seem irrelevant, even taking up Russia's old position as the pro-"Arab" force.
So, declare a state. The Israelis should then follow the EU. It is meaningless because the argument starts with what the borders are, not the other way around. Arafat could have "declared a state" many times and threatened to do so. The reasons he didn't is because then he would have to put forth what the borders would be - to wit, all dreams of destroying Israel disposed.

So, declare a state. The Israelis should then follow the EU Indeed...the best solution for Sharon. The next missile attack after such a declaration would be an act of war. And we all know what happens when someone declares war on Israel.

The Euros do lots of bu$ine$$ with Iran and Iraq. That is why they are carrying on now as well. They are terrified of us going after their buddies. Israel is only the half of it.
