"I can recall when a lot of the Dems- Sam Nunn, Scoop Jackson, Hubert Humphrey, Pat Moynihan- were good men. They sure have fallen a long way since then..."

Clinton did a lot to push that process along...seriously, the dude is a Serial Rapist, an Abuser of Power, most assuredly a Conspirator to Murder, and a Traitor to his Country, yet the RATS swallowed any sincere protest and let him hold his high office for the duration. Nobody who did that has a lick of self-respect or Love of Country...they've been Clintonized!! However, it goes even deeper when you consider the implosion of Lib'ralism as a viable political ideology...Collectivist Solutions have failed miserably wherever they've been tried, yet the Left is beholden to their Socialist Strategy despite incontrovertible evidence that the Federal Guv'ment makes everything it touches--save the Military--WORSE!!

Fer the Left, only a snake-oil salesman like Clinton has a chance to fool enuff of the Electorate to get himself elected POTUS, and I'm not seeing many folks in the RAT farm system nearly as good at lying as Der SchleekMeister!! Now, if we could only get Dubyuh to quit compromising away nearly everything the Right feels passionate about, we could make some real progress in moving this Country outta its Lib'ral Funk over the next six years!!
