I was about to post this myself (I get my Speccie late here in the States) when I found your post. It's a little disconcerting that there are so few comments. I wonder if Freepers realize what they owe Nozick -- more than Rush, more than Newt.
I took a course with Nozick when I was in law school (he was writing The Examined Life, and the course revolved around reading and commenting on a draft), and during office hours one day he took me down the hall to introduce me to W.V.O. Quine and John Rawls, who I noticed was wearing sneakers with his suit. I could hardly breathe for the excitement. He and Rawls seemed like the best of friends, by the way.
Nozick had a splendid mind, and was a very nice and warm person, to boot. I was quite shocked by his death.
Oh, I also did a search for the Simon Heffer "Cowardy Custards" article in the same issue, which I see you also posted, again with virtually no response. I found the article infuriating, and I thought other Freepers would have as well. I may go bump that one for you as well. Fat lot of good it'll do, I suppose . . . .
