i couldn't agree more. if the left wants to politicize the event, and i think you can rest assured
every ilk of bottom feeder will try (read: protests). i'm a skier, former giant slalom and gelande jumper,
former distance runner, and i intend to watch as much as i can on tv...
i didn't want the olympics in my home town, and will be overjoyed when they are gone...
but i'll watch these kids do their best, and cheer for our team.
now then, what's new york doing to rid themselves of the u.n.? hmmm? and how many
conservatives are going to be out in the sub-freezing fog to protest the ioc here before the media?
an armchair freep may further the cause... dunno... however,
i'll leave the flags (stars and stripes, and pow-mia) flying in the front yard, and the
flags on the vehicles, and gladly watch the 10,000 troops, 23 blackhawks, f-16's, awacs
7,000 police and a state chock full of deer-hunters on constant guard, from my den on my american
made tv on nbc, thank you.
darn, those blackhawks are noisy at 2am...
