Sorry about that.

Michael Medved is talking about this as well. He is ripping on the Eurotrash (he has even used that term) for trying to tell us not to be patriotic. That flag should be the one the flagbearer brings in (is it the one that also flew at Yankee Stadium during the Series?).

And a KMA to the UN as well!! I couldn't agree with you more.

Hmmm... excellent point.
Still doesn't keep me from being pi$$ed off, though.
To: LoanPalm
No problem, the sidebar guys can fix it now.

Still doesn't keep me from being pi$$ed off, though. Nor I. And if enough of us REAL Americans get that way, we can stop it. But it ain't looking good, sad to say.

The only thing these creeps like that is American is colored GREEN.
They can all go the h*ll home and take the UN with them!

The Olympics have been on a slide ever since it became infected with creeping One-Worldism. It used to be I could barely wait four years between 'em, back in the old ABC days, and when the Olympics finally arrived I watched every night, pulling for our guys.
Not anymore, since the networks began actively promoting other countries athletes while obscuring our own. Can have the philistines feeling patriotic or experiencing feelings of, (horrors) national pride can we.
Another of life's small pleasures obliterated by the intellectual communists.

I am so teed off, I say visas start to have 'processing' problems until this is resolved.
To: LoanPalm
Well, I'm so American, I'm not even watching the Salt Lake City graftfest. So there!
To: skeeter
Yes, it is impossible to watch the U.S. Hockey team on the Olympics without 10 tributes to foriegn athletes and how we should 'appreciate' them and not root for the Americans so hard.
The Chinese will do anything to win and as long as we aren't #1 in the medal standings I will not give a hoot for any commies to win.
To: LoanPalm
NY Port Authority officer Kurt Killenger says the US Olympic committee wants to use the flag but the International Olympic committee won't allow it.
Sean suggesting sneaking it in and flying it anyway.

The Olympics have been on a slide ever since it became infected with creeping One-Worldism. Bingo. But the purpose of the Olympics was really that (One-Worldism) from the start - from the same basic people who promulgated the League of Nations/United Nations.

I am so teed off, I say visas start to have 'processing' problems until this is resolved. LOL - well, the thing is, the snowball is so far down the hill at this point, that it's not likely to stop. The flag at the Olympics thing is just a symptom of a MUCH larger disease that's starting to really show up, and a lot of Americans are - finally - starting to notice it. Especially after 911. We're right on the verge of getting sucked into that 1-World thing another poster mentioned, and it ain't just about singing "We are the world - we are the children." For us, here in this country, it's going to be about watching what's left of our Constitution (including the Bill of Rights) go up in smoke as we "become one" in the Global scheme.
To: LoanPalm
Throw the "we are the world' America-hating turds out of our country.
Thank God spring training is upon us. Real sports is about to resume. Good old AMERICAN baseball! Where the flag is proudly displayed and the singing of "GOD BLESS AMERICA" is welcomed with open arms and hearts!

"When is the USA going to wake up and realize that the rest of the world really does not like us that much? I don't really understand why, though. It seems that we're always the ones who come in and bail everybody else's butts out of the fire." I personally don't care why. We should slam the doors, close the borders, kick out the U.N. and put up a big sign that says, "We're closed dammit!". Let's take care of our own, make our own, drill for own own, grow our own and then see how long the rest of the world gets on with out us. And if they make it on their own, even better.
Screw 'em. We don't need 'em.
Oh, and while I'm at it...
