WTC Flag not welcome at Winter Olympics

Sean Hannity said that they will be breaking a story at 1530 EST that a flag found at the WTC is not welcome at the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olymics because it is "too American."

Win as many medals as possible and rub it in the IOC's face, and then announce the reduction in funding in the closing ceremony address.

I totally agree. But how are we gonna do it, when the people we elect because they sound so good in their campaigns turn around and wind up being in FAVOR of the UN and global government? THAT is the problem. We the People truly have no more voice in all of this - we're just riding a hell-bound train that's speeding up, and we can't stop it or even get off.

There's a simple solution to this: Stop caring about the Olympics. Since when does an American give a [darn] about the luge or the shot put?

The Superbowl should be a big deal to an American. The Olympics are just an annoyance, in that we lose a TV network for two weeks.

Although I consider having that flag as a gesture of the solidarity of humanity a nice gesture, I can understand the reluctance to include "national" symbols with an obvious secondary meaning.
It has always been thus with the concept of the Olympics; It has always bothered me somewhat, but I can accept the concept.

Which raises an interesting point in my mind: Who chooses and provides the flags used during the Olympics?
(Opening ceremonies, closing ceremonies and awarding of medals?)

A flag that flew over the WTC is not a distraction during the ceremony to the idiotic 'Olymipic Spirit'.

It is the personification of the worlds activities going on unchanged and spitting in the face of the terror.
