didn't like the talk about "volunteering"...this is a nasty little demon that just keeps poking its head up over and over again. How is this different than a tax? Uh - 'cause it's voluntary?

"I don't care who you are - being in the same room with Hillary for more than 5 minutes is bound to have some effect on you...' I'm thinking of that line from "Coyote Ugly"... you know the one where you gnaw off body parts to escape?

"National Perfidy Radio" never has a good grip on reality

Are we having a separate thread for the Dem response or this one?
To: Recovering_Democrat
I watched FOX for the whole speech.

Paul Gigot on CNBC called it "a muscular speech...not much empathy...signalling the '90s-style presidency is over."
Amen.

"we know freedom's price"
People, I have listened to YOUR president's state of the nation address on a fuzzy snow-filled no-digital TV on the other side of the world (I'm in Ireland) connection and cursed technology. But it came clear on those four words...``WE KNOW FREEDOM'S PRICE''
WE....KNOW it.
We...KNOW it. We protect THAT.
(I'm listening right now to a leftist bitch who I don't know from Adam criticising President Bush...but those words mean nothing to them. Nothing.)
My God...I have to log off now, because some real leftist A-Hole is talkin' out his ass right now...and because I'm either five or eight hours ahead of most of you Americans....I don't need that image before I sleep *L*

Mara Liason (on NPR) called the speech 'chilling' because Bush spoke so clearly about the threats we face. Dan Schorr is scared to death that Bush might act 'pro-actively'.

Tom rascal was inching along the Presidents rear end as he left the podium, whats up with THAT!

"They were as wrong as they are evil". Speaking of our enemies.
The Democrats or al-Qeada?
To: watsonfellow
he ended it horribly ? we all have opinions and our comments either give these opinions credibility or take credibility from them... your view that Bush ended horribly is just a lot of noise
