This was written during the 2000 election:

Jeb Bush is now the Governor of the State of Florida. He and his wife have three children:
24 year old George Prescott,
daughter Noelle who is 22 years old
and Jeb Jr., 16 years old

She's got to be almost 26 now I would think, so she's not a minor and this would be worrisome - a drug charge as an adult.

Sorry for the family....of course the media is milking this "non story" like it's MAJOR news!

After 9/11 it sickens me that they are playing "breaking news alerts" over this....

correction....she wouldn't be 26 (her brother might be) She'd still be under 25....duh (math!)

Actually, its not considered a drug charge per se like marijuana and whatnot.

They report this as major news but not the McCauliffe/Global Crossing story. Now that's BIG news.

Why is this a "non-story"?

The U.S. State and Federal authorities routinely destroy peoples lives over exactly this kind of "offence". Children are taken from their families, steady wage earners are jailed, family property is taken, innocent people are shot by wannabe ninja "tac teams" serving no knock warrants, terminal patients are denied demonstrably useful medications, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

I think it's a very interesting story and will be most interested in seeing exactly how Jeb and "W" react.
