The lie is you being on a conservative website. The socialists are down the block to the left.
As long as you're here though you should either produce evidence that Bush is an alchoholic or admit you're a lying sack. Since the lefties, commies and tree huggers spent 3 years looking for that evidence and came up with zip, I'll just go with you as a lying sack if thats okie dokie with you.

"Their uncle is a recovering alcoholic. The president. Lie number one." so, jwalsh, which part is the lie - the alcoholic part, or the recovering part? This part is a lie: "Their uncle is a recovering alcoholic."
What do you people have invested in labeling him this way? Do you get something out of it, or what? All we know is he's a guy who thought he was drinking too much and decided to quit many years ago. Will it make you happier to impose an extra degree of seriousness on the situation?

Sorry but she looks like the usual druggies my Hubby and I see.

"any good conservative should have WHACKED Ashcroft for wasting 8,000 bucks of taxpayer money on a friggin drape for a statue." No kidding. At that price they should have been high fashion designer originals.

Push GW's past drinking issue hard - to the exclusion of the war, the economy, everything else.
Please. I know who will come out of this with egg on their face.

More words of wisdom from the Libertarian Hypocrite du jour.
This is what is known in most circles as hypocritical bullshit.
It's a 'family' problem for the Bushes, but not for the thousands of other families, for whom the Bushes have quite actively made it a criminal problem.
I hope she gets at least 10 years.

Please Cernunnos, go to the news media and demand they make this story their lead story. I dare you.
The Dems are so utterly desperate, and out of steam, that this is the best they have. Bring it on.

You're dreaming, summer. That is not a "drowsy" look brought about by the early morning hour, as weegee avers, but the strung-out look of an addict. It's a very damning photo.
Jeb Bush is going to take a significant hit on this. Just how big a hit depends on how he handles it. The best strategy for him to employ is total candor --- not slick lawyerly evasions.
The girl is ill. OK, fine. But with deliberate planning she committed an illegal act. It also appears she did not act alone, since it is likely someone else impersonated the physician in the two phone calls to the druggist. That brings conspiracy into it.
Her illness does not excuse these acts. It is astounding that a 24 year old woman of her background would act so irresponsibly--the granddaughter of a President---the niece of a President---the daughter of a Governor!
After Jenna had her troubles it was incumbent upon all the adults in the Bush extended family to impress upon the younger members the absolute neccessity for unreproachable behavior. If those responsible adults didn't know Noelle had a problem, they should have known. I am disgusted that they didn't take that job seriously enough to prevent this maddening distraction from happening.

"Sorry but she looks like the usual druggies my Hubby and I see."You're forgiven. Actually its not a crime for you and your Hubby to hang out with druggies and I certainly won't judge you by that:) Also its good to know she looks like a "usual druggie" Thanks!

beckett, Noelle is an adult. She did the crime, she'll have to suffer the consequences. Every guy I enterd the Army with was younger than Noelle is right now by years. Please, we should all be able to agree that personal resonsibility is a conservative principle.

What about Jebs son and his girlfriend getting naughty?
jebs hijinks

LOL.....I am a nurse and he is a doc but OF course we don't do the drugs!!!!!!
To: Stone Mountain
I said this back a few 100 posts ago, and I'll say it again. First time offenders for this sort of crime in Florida usually get probation and drug treatment, regardless of whom their parents are.

Why the hell did the moderator delete my post about the DU jackals laughing over this? I merely said that they will defend Bubba and that ugly hoe Chelsea to their deaths, but show no sympathy at all for Republican children.

When GeorgeW & Jeb Bush became governors of Texas & Florida, New York & California were the top two entry points for illegal drugs. Not anymore...
To: pitinkie
What about Jebs son and his girlfriend getting naughty? And, what about it? What is the point you are trying to make? A 16 year old kid does something foolish - he make sout with his girlfriend in a car (jeep) and gets caught. Correct? And? The point? Did his parents talk with him? And? What next? Where 'ya going with this?
