First lady Laura Bush expressed sympathy for Lindh's parents. ``I'm sure his parents are unbelievably crushed and, you know, worried and sick, everything that every parent feels when their children have a problem like he has,'' she said. Laura, quit being such a twit. My parents would be ashamed if one of us did this, and would be out trying to find a suitable length of rope to alleviate the pain, to get it over with so as to preserve their integrity. They would be worried that some lawyer would get us off, and sick for having brought a traitor to term.
Laura, Walker does not have a 'problem,' Walker is a problem.

Most parents would be "unbelievably crushed and, you know, worried and sick, everything that every parent feels when their children have a problem like he has.." - but Walker-Lindh's parents are not like most parents... and whatever futile attempt they make now to "do the right thing" for their son is a little too late, dontcha think?

Laura, Walker does not have a 'problem,' Walker is a problem.I agree with you completely. Much as I love the First Lady, I winced when I heard her make this dumb statement.

Problem my XXX. This guy is a spoiled brat of spoiled parents who probably don't give a damn about him or they wouldn't have let him go over there alone, as a teenager. There's nothing they can say or do that will make me feel sympathy for them or their traitor son. Hang him!
