This is classified as gang related violence, not a hate crime.

This happens weekly in all of our major metro areas. Many gangs initiation requires the murder of a white person. Never will be classified as hate.

When I was a child, my uncle was the mayor of Jasper. I spent many pleasant days in this town, as it was not far from where we lived at the time. It is a very pretty typical small east Texas town. I can't believe so much meaness is going on there.

Well, if it's true, then it's not a hate crime. Hate crimes can only be committed by white males against non-white males, unless the white male being acted against is a homosexual.
