Fine wine does, indeed, improve with age.

The lying bastard, otherwise known as DNC chairman Terry McAuliffe, is spewing lies at a feverish pace on Meet the Depressed.
To: OneidaM; Elkiejg
McAuful lied like a rug, and Timmy the Potato let him get away with it. Racicot was too nice. He called McAuful on his lies several times, but he did it in "Pubbie debate language". Racicot needs to go to a Freeper boot camp, with drill instructors Horowitz and Coulter.
I've come to a realization that basically, The Potato is just a chicken-s**t bully. He beat the snot of the CEO of Arthur Andersen, but pulled his punches on Terry McLiar. The difference? McLiar can get even with Timmy, but Berardino (Andersen CEO) can't touch The Potato, no matter how much Timmy sucker-punches him.

"Racicot was too nice"
---But he made Terry look fake and obnoxious by comparison

I don't know, McAwful looked like a smarmy squirmy brat. Racicot looked and sounded like an adult. I think when the contrast is there, why mess with it? But this was Racicot's second day on the job, so I am sure he will hone his delivery to a Rumsfeldian potency.

Guess we saw it the same way :)

"Rumsfeld put little Timmie in his place, and in one sentence, which Timmie couldn't refute, belittled both the WASH Post, and Russert."
Can you be more specific? I'm sick that I missed it.
To: Alas Babylon!
McCauliffe looks like a pimp next to Racicot. "Roscoe" has the kind of deamenor you usually seem to find in people that Bush picks. He did the same thing in Texas. All were professional, calm and usually extremely intelligent. And they were all grown ups. I know, I met some of them.
Watching this guy go up against McCauliffe is going to be fun. The only thing I didn't like about Racicot's TV presence was that he blinked WAY too much. He needs to work on that. Distracting.

And even if he did why couldn't he keep the money since he has already recused himself.

I am extreemly disappointed that "Screaming Heads" is not in your title.
It's like a Sunday morning without bacon and eggs.

mostly verbatim:
Russert: Saudi Arabia has said that it wants American forces out of that country...
Rumsfeld: Let me correct that. A newspaper has reported that Saudi Arabia might say that it wants American forces out of the country. And that's the only thing that has been said, but many papers are copycatting it......."

Yes, that is right, and thank you for reminding me of that fact. I like to draw the analogy for those who say it is Clinton's military that is doing so well, of a race horse. An injured or jockyless racehorse often will try to finish a race , no matter what. They do this because they have the heart and the will to run. Under Clinton the military was a jockyless and injured horse, doing the incredible under great handicap, because they have the heart and the will to do whatever job they must. McAwful spouting on about how the military should be offended that the republicans point to the war success as a campaign issue needs to be jerked up short. The military is offended by being disenfranchised, everything else they do is their job, and they will do it.

CBS Democrat newsslut Rita Braver slipped in an unscheduled hit piece on the Bush Administration. She did an Enron "news report" (read Democrat propaganda piece) wherein she talked about 'politicians receiving money from Enron' while showing a Bush 2000 campaign rally and a speech by Bush. She then talked about the Bush administration helping out with the power plant in India, and COMPLETELY FAILED TO MENTION that the CLINTON administration had its fingerprints all over the India plant, including the $100,000 donation to the DNC.

Racicot was BRILLIANT during the Florida re-count mess!
To: Alas Babylon!
I'm watching John Kerry on CNN Late Edition, and will take this opportunity to repeat my longstanding prediction....Senator John Kerry WILL BE the 2004 Democrat Candidate for President.

Tell me one commentator that has a brain to call their own. Last week Tony Snow was badgering someone from the Bush administration (I have forgotten the guest) and the question was irrelevant and Tony's comments that the guest was being defensive made no sense at all.
To: Alas Babylon!
Did everybody get the DNC's Talking Poing Du Jour"?
LOL...so easy to refute!!
John Kerry is the last of the day to use it....Dick Cheney and George Bush complained during the election what bad shape the military was in because of Clinton, and now they say it's the best, and doing such a great job against Bin Laden.
Goobers!! As are the interviewers who fail to acknowledge the shortages, poor maintenance, low stockpiles of certain bombs, and lack of equipment that has hindered and slowed our battle plan. You'd think they would have a basic understanding that during war, the honchos don't publicize our weaknesses, and you'd think, the interviewers would not let the democratic spin machine get away with such untrue cheapshots.
Clinton ruined, wrecked, and practically dismantled the CIA. SEE NO EVIL author lays it at the feet of the INS, CIA, FAA, all agencies of government ignoring terrorism. 8 years of Clinton, boo hiss!!
