When you editorialize the subject name at least have the courtesy to put it as your title!

This man has no control of over appointment of Supreme Court justices -- he is fundraiser. If we follow your logic, then there will no pro-life justices as the democRATS will contol the Senate thanks to one issue folks!

Abortion is legal and will not be changed until more anti-abortion Republicans are elected. And we cannot get our candidates elected without money!

And all you anti-abortion folks, don't bother to flame me -- I stated facts -- don't like them myself, but it is the fact. If one-issue folks sit on their hands and don't vote for Republicans, then you can kiss goodbye any chance of getting even partial birth abortion banned and any anti-abortion Supreme Court nominee of President Bush will not get approved by the Senate!

This is a mighty big (and incorrect) assumption on your part.

[Hey Freepers] Are You a "single issue" person?

And all you anti-abortion folks,
I’m pro-life, but I’ll respond anyway.

And one more fact for you. You are correct that if we abandon the Republicans we won’t get abortion banned. Equally true is that if the Republicans abandon us they won’t get any of their goals enacted. It is a two way street. When you leave us you have no right to expect us to stay. Guys like this do not support our candidates. He can raise all the money he likes, but what good does that do a pro-lifer if all the money goes to pro-abort republicans?

No one has answered my question regarding if he will have influence over where the money he raises goes. I guess that makes the obvious even more clear. He does, and that speaks volumes. If we need money to get pro-lifers elected, but this guy has his way, how does that help us?

This is a highly naive statement. As the guy in charge of fundraising, he will bring in huge cash from people in exchange for what? Conservatives already donate to the GOP. Why do you need this guy? To bring in big money from people who dont donate to the GOP. Now who are those people, and why will they donate? Even you know the answer to this question.

Using this man's appointment as not affecting appointment of S/C justices is a bit of a red herring...but you brought up the word "fundraiser".

The idea this guy is needed or the GOP won't raise money is bogus--the GOP consistently out collects the Democrats.

..."If one-issue folks sit on their hands and don't vote for Republicans, then you can kiss goodbye any chance of getting even partial birth abortion banned..."....

The chance for a ban on partial birth abortion was over when candidate Bush, along with Hyde, and Quayle, voted against Tim Lambert's Resolution which would have forbidden the Republican Party from giving funds to candidates WHO SUPPORT PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION! In other words, Candidate Bush was willing to spend party members' monies to fund candidates who were happy to kill babies by the most horrid methods just so they could win the election. Logically, how could a bill banning partial birth abortions ever reach his desk if there's enough PRO BABY KILLERS to defeat it on the floor of the House or Senate.

I don't believe anyone who wants to win an election over the body of a baby who's had its brains sucked out isn't worthy of holding office....that includes Hyde, Quayle, and yes, Bush.

Evil is evil....and if a 'Christian' is for this, they are evil.
