Excuse me. This President will be the one that bans partial-birth abortion - but FIRST, we must take back the Senate. Daschle won't even bring up the stimulus plan - do you honestly think he would allow a vote on PBA to be allowed? Quitting of this president now is ridiculous and wrong!

Why is it that the Democrats with the absolute slimmest of margins in the Senate can move their legislation through against a sitting Republican President and a Republican House, while the Republicans need a huge majority in all three positions plus the Supreme Court?

It's because the Republicans have no balls, that's why. They're too busy being "bi" ("sexual" or "partisan", take your pick) to accomplish anything.

The Republicans had a majority in both houses and the presidency and they didn't even broach the topic of abortion. Face it, once a Republican majority in the Senate gets cobbled together, the "leadership" will not pass any meaningful legislation for fear of offending the North Eastern RINO wing.

Inaction on the abortion issue is the functional equivalent of supporting abortion.

During the period of their dual control (1995 - 2001), if I recall correctly, they sent a PBA bill to the Perverted President twice and he veto'd it...The GOP had control of the Senate at the start of last year.... and blew it..... it was more important to argue about $$$$$$$ than the lives of babes about to be murdered....and then one of those trusty dependable RINOs took a walk and the GOP lost their majorityship....and conservatives was left sucking hind teat again.
