The sad part about this is that is what this country is coming to. This racist wants to get rid of Washington and Jefferson and honor the likes of Mohammed Allah , Rev. Martin Luther King or Rev. Jesse Jackson. Well here goes like it or not. Rev.Martin Luther King was a plagiarizer, plain proven and simple.Even Ralph D. Abernathy admits to this. Abernethey was with King when he got shot. Also Abernethey was with King the night before he was shot and says King was with two whores the night before drinking and talking about he was F------ for the Lord this night.King was also a heavy drinker to which Abernathey addresses. This is all addressed in a book titled "And The Walls Came Tumbling Down".By Ralph D. Abernethey-It is hard to find because they have taken most of them off the market but can be found at most State University libraries if called for specifically. Also this same book tells of Rev. Jackson telling the press how King died in his arms which was also a lie according to Abernethey who was in the room behind King when he was shot.Rev>J.played it to the hilt on National TV but you heard nothing about the lie.And now for Cassius Clay here is a man who refused to serve his country because he was a conscientious objector, who objected to violence but made a living by trying to knock other peoples heads off in a ring.Yes folks this is what America honors today and this race of people dare talk about doing away with white statesman. We are there and if we do not prepare to defend ourselves we will be run out of this coutry just like this chocolate covered raisin advocates. This sounds hateful and it is, maybe God will forgive me if I am wrong but I am tired of being pushed around. My life is almost over but I be damned if I want my kids and grandkids to go through this shit!

My email to O'Reilly:
After witnessing Mr. Barron's divisive remarks about 'the old white guy', it is easy to see why racism still exists in America. His comment that the Declaration of Independence does not apply to blacks is one of the most completely outrageous fallacies I've ever heard. You should have been much harder on him, Bill.

I almost kicked the damn TV in. But I was happy that O'reilly finally went after one of these sons of bitches. One thing O'Reilly didn't say is the real reason why Political Correctness is rampant in America. It is because the Communists are running the Asylum at the moment. It is part of the Marxist Doctrine. Read about it. I am reading a great book about all this Communist Crap now. It is called, "America's Thirty Years War". My Freeper friends, we have been infiltrated deep in this country with Communist Doctrine we have to reveal these leftist at every turn.

Are people still actually watching blowhard O'Reilly? I heard his numbers have really tanked and Roger Ailes has told him to stop hogging his guests time and shouting over them. But evidently blowhard Bill is still putting out the same half inch deep drivel of a show. Borrrrrinnng.

Problem is that most blacks would rather see a black bumbling idiot in a position of semi-authority instead of the very best white man, all in the notion that injustices from 160 years ago can somehow be repaired today. I would gladly pay damages to anybody who could demostrate actual harm that my ancestors did to them, but not for cultural oppression
BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who else would elect a rep. so stupid as to question why the Mars rover didn't show the U.S. flag!!!!!!!!!

That guy was a raving racist who compared G. Washington and T. Jefferson to Hitler. He said the Declaration of Independence was written by white slave owners so it didn't apply to blacks. He also said that African blacks being involved in the slave trade was a myth. A total black supremist. And now imagine how his grandkids are going to treat your grandkids when whites become the minority in 2050.

I think you're right about his ratings. However, methinks he feels he needs to be "more balanced" so he brings on idiots who are lunatics and have a difficult time being heard in the hope that he will be seen as "giving it to them".

I saw this clown on O'Reilly tonight, and have several thoughts about the performance:
1) This guy was in total denial about a variety of things, not the least of which is the extent of black involvement in the slave trade. Fact is, Europeans did not enslave anyone...they merely purchased people who were already enslaved.
2) This guy didn't seem too lathered about slavery going on in Africa today....wonder why not? (answer: he exploits the history of slavery in America to incite white guilt so that he can get things that he wants from white americans).
3) I am slowly coming to believe that this man's opinions are not anywhere near as rare as I had hoped. Sadly, I think that his opinion is shared by the clear majority of black americans.
4) The more time passes, the more I am inclined to actually believe one major point of his: perhaps things really are as culturally relative as he says they are. Perhaps black children in this country should not be taught about great white men in our past, but rather should be taught whatever the leaders in the black community want to teach them. After all, if you go to any black neighborhood in america, what do the people there really have in common with Europeans such as Washington (or Newton, or Jefferson, or any other European). Maybe we should have our teachings and let them have theirs...it seems to be what they want.
Just a thought

No, that story is about the Brooklyn Borough president; this guy was a Brooklyn councilman.....Charles Barron....but it sounded like he's been talking to Markowitz about removing pictures of our Founding Fathers from the Borough Hall.....they both want to destroy our American Heritage for the sake of political diversity & correctness! Grrrrrrrr...like most on this thread; I was screaming at the TV.
I recently heard a Professor from a Black Studies Program at a FL state university who spouted the same argument as Barron....it seems to be the vogue now to discredit & destroy Revolutionary heroes.
To: sinkspur
"I'm convinced C-SPAN has a conspiracy to make ALL blacks who call in look like raving, foam-at-the-mouth lunatics too. That's how they look to me. Dumb, stupid, hateful and predictable."
Hate to admit it, but I feel exactly the same way. It's gotten to the point that, aside from our black brethren and sisters here on FR and my black co-workers, I seriously wonder about the entire black race in this country. I realize that's unfair, but all I see is hatred, divisiveness, envy, ignorance, violence, debauchery..................and an overwhelming feeling that it just isn't worth the trouble.
I also think it's high time that blacks in this country rise up and be heard........to drown out these filth who seem to consistently represent them in the mass media.
did you people also catch Quanell X on Hannity and Colmes?? my self-esteem is shot with all this white bashing, and I am Latina! LOL.

President Lincoln had the same concern about the slave population - unless they were able to assimilate into America there would be more problems for them as time went on.
He even went to so far as to say that returning the Blacks to Africa would not be a bad idea given the situation.

I saw it. The NYC Councilman's name was Barron. Sure enough, Bill O got into it with him regarding revisionism.
There are, no doubt, winners and losers in history. The winners generally have a good bit of influence to cast facts and personal data in ways closely resembling the way they would like them to be remembered. Countervailing facts seen as less relevant are less often--if ever--repeated among succint historical summaries.
Barron called BO's examples of heroes--Washington, Jefferson, etc., "your heroes." He said that because they were slave owners, they should not be honored by blacks. One of Barron's preferred heroes was Malcolm X. Upon hearing that, BO called Malcolm X a clear racist, and cited a quote from him. BO asked him if he would repudiate Malcolm because he was a racist.
Barron wouldn't repudiate him, but said Malcolm's statements evolved over time. BO asked Barron if others' heroes, such as Washington should be viewed more favorably, given that they, too, evolved better understandings over time, but Barron would allow none of that kind of thinking.
"If Socrates and Plato and their like kept slaves, should we no longer hold them in high esteem?" was another BO example. That would be nonsense, as the thrust of such peoples' contributions to history have to do with other aspects of they ways in which they might have participated in that which was common throughout the ages in which they lived. Revising history that way is simply willful ignorance and attempts to create an artificial reality.
Barron and his ilk are yet another threat in the PC crowd's attempt to revise history and take over America with their own version of events and beliefs. These people are simply happy to lie if it furthers their cause. This undermines character, upon which so much has been built in the past.
BO had a point that Barron's way of thinking was very detrimental to the blacks whose interests Barron was purporting to represent. He's right, of course, but as long as they can take over the country, such a means will be justified to reach that end.
There probably have been very good, fundamental reasons people throughout history benevolently wiped out their enemies--to eliminate the detrimental influence of those peoples' pasts and the potential negatives of their future actions might well have, perverse to the beneficent hopes they have for their children's futures, based in a reality worthy of being a foundation for future actions.

I saw the show too. Unfortunately, I am not so sure this guy's views are all that rare, nowadays. The current HS history texts come very close to teaching those views about Washington, Jefferson, et al. The "slaveholder" business is always thrown in to undercut the founders' greatness. U.S. history has been pretty well trashed, and I don't think it will be easy to restore it.

I just watched the replay of O'Reilly's interview. This black guy is a worthless piece of crap. He's just as racist as any KKK member out there. He gives all patriotic blacks a bad name.
