Even Time magazine today said this:

On the evidence to date, the Bush Administration would seem to have admirably rebuffed pleas for favors from its most generous business supporter.

I read that too but it's buried deep in the article. At the same time, they try to blame Bush for mishandling this at the beginning and creating all the intrigue. I guess that's when you know you've won, when it's the way "it was handled." The press is so lame. There didn't have to be any intrigue if they had just gotten to the facts and didn't feed the rumors. I hate the press.
