The truth is there is no such a nation as 'Palestinians'.They are simply Arabs. The 'Palestinian nation' was created by those who want to destroy Israel and the Jewish people But the Jewsish people will never again walk quietly to the gas chambers and the 'Palestinians' and their Nazi/Bolshevik backers better get used to that

And what about that Mohammed character with his 12 wives and the Koran? Where on earth did he come from and how did his religion gain in popularity so much?

No nation, other than the ancient nation of Israel and later again in 1948 with the rebirth of the Nation of Israel, has ever ruled as a sovereign national entity on this land.

Well, the Bible says that the Jews took the land of Israel from the Canaanites and other tribes of people who were already there. Jericho, for example, was a major city--perhaps the oldest in the world--which was taken by force by Joshua and his army. Some of the so-called Palestinians may have roots in the indigenous peoples (e.g, the Canaanites) conquered by the Jews.

Another post a couple of weeks ago pointed out that the Arab population of what is now Israel was always miniscule. The huge explosion in the Arab population there resulted from transplanted Arabs from Egypt, Syria, and Jordan mainly, who came to what is now Israel only after returning Jews had built a sustainable society, created industries and jobs, and made the land habitable.

Thanks Masada 2000. There has been a lot of information about Israel and Palestine lately on the internet, unfortunately the most correct historical information has not been coming from major news sources. Seems no matter how badly Arafat has failed (purposely) to promote peace, he has been very successful at gaining support among the world's media --and in the United Nations. And unfortunately when it comes to the politics of the United States or Israel, many people in the world and the media will root for who they perceive as the poor and defenseless underdog and portray the more powerful country as arrogant, racist, imperialistic, and bullying, even when the facts tell us that the underdogs are murderous troublemakers.

Well you can argue this all day and night but my toddler father and the rest of his Christian family was kicked out of their Jaffa home by the brutal Israeli forces in May 1948. F*** Israel.

..., in Genesis 12:5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. Genesis 12:5

So what was the land of Canaan? Chopped liver? And could some of the so-called Palestinians be descendents of these people?

I too am aghast that the media and even the Jewish leaders do not capitalize on this. The Arab nation was made in 1948 with the creation of Jordon. When they talk about the Jews taking away the land from the Arabs, it leads me to believe that it is just more History being revised by the liberal left.

I have often wondered( but been too lazy to research it) why in the world did the Jewish people allow their land to be taken away so many times? It seems that they have allowed themselves to be victims throughout history. We now see a large section of the Jewish community in this country wanting the very things that destroyed them so many times, such as gun control, bigger government, fewer individual rights.

Was it because they became unrighteous? Was it because they were pacifists?

No, Mohammed started the Muslim religion which the Palestinians espouse and follow. From what I understand he was Catholic and his 1st wife was Jewish. How he wrote the Koran and start a religion which is slowly taking over the world is beyond me.

Since the person knew so much about Israel and Palestine, I thought he could answer my question about Mohammand.

Yasser Arafat was born in Egypt.

One more thing I might mention. Throughout history, Jewish people have always been successful economically until they allow people to invade and destroy it. The Arabs on the other hand have never been successful economically (until the oil) but seem to have some success militarally.

The Palestinians are descendents of the Phoenicians that occupied Israeli land in ancient times and were finally defeated in the 1940's. They are on Israeli land, and have no rights whatsoever. Somewhere in the Old Testament, it says that the land of Israel is bordered by the Nile in the West and the Euphrates in the East. So, it is not the Israelis that are on Arab land; quite the contrary. Besides, even if the Israelis have committed wrongs, the Muslims have done exponentially more evil, as these "peaceable" Muslims seem so capable of doing. I have no sympathy for them at all. If they really wanted freedom, there are many Arab countries they could go to live, and prosper in their Islamic paradises. If they insist on trying to push Israel into the sea, good luck. You're going to need all the luck you can, just to keep YOUR people from being pushed into the Mediterranean.....

"So what was the land of Canaan?"

It was land created by God, occupied by descendants of Ham, and subsequently given by God to his chosen people.

"And could some of the so-called Palestinians be descendents of these people?"

Not too likely. Read Joshua 11.
