The truth is there is no such a nation as 'Palestinians'.They are simply Arabs. The 'Palestinian nation' was created by those who want to destroy Israel and the Jewish people But the Jewsish people will never again walk quietly to the gas chambers and the 'Palestinians' and their Nazi/Bolshevik backers better get used to that

And what about that Mohammed character with his 12 wives and the Koran? Where on earth did he come from and how did his religion gain in popularity so much?

No nation, other than the ancient nation of Israel and later again in 1948 with the rebirth of the Nation of Israel, has ever ruled as a sovereign national entity on this land. Well, the Bible says that the Jews took the land of Israel from the Canaanites and other tribes of people who were already there. Jericho, for example, was a major city--perhaps the oldest in the world--which was taken by force by Joshua and his army. Some of the so-called Palestinians may have roots in the indigenous peoples (e.g, the Canaanites) conquered by the Jews.

excuse me, but can you explain to me the point of this article.

Thanks Masada 2000. There has been a lot of information about Israel and Palestine lately on the internet, unfortunately the most correct historical information has not been coming from major news sources. Seems no matter how badly Arafat has failed (purposely) to promote peace, he has been very successful at gaining support among the world's media --and in the United Nations. And unfortunately when it comes to the politics of the United States or Israel, many people in the world and the media will root for who they perceive as the poor and defenseless underdog and portray the more powerful country as arrogant, racist, imperialistic, and bullying, even when the facts tell us that the underdogs are murderous troublemakers.

Well you can argue this all day and night but my toddler father and the rest of his Christian family was kicked out of their Jaffa home by the brutal Israeli forces in May 1948. F*** Israel.

I would like to save this article, but I don't seem to have a "bookmark" feature any more. What happened?

For right or wrong I have always thought of the Pals as a gang like the Cripes or the Bloods and maybe the israelis as members of a homeowner's association.

WHO are the PALESTINIANS?WHAT & WHERE is PALESTINE?
Might I suggest the audiotape presentation by radio talk-show host Michael Medved
titled (IIRC) "Why They Fight".
It's a pretty good review of many of the historical facts concerning "Palestine".
I suspect it can be purchased at Medved's website, www.michaelmedved.com.
Alternatively, Medved plays the tape on his show during some holidays.
(Full disclosure for those not familiar with Medved: He is an observant Jew, born in the USA,
and an American citizen, with some family that does live in Israel.
But the tape does seem to make a good presentation about the history of the area,
admittedly with Medved's own point of view.)

Palestinians did smash Napoleon though. Not bad for a non-existant people.
Palestine in 636AD was a territory of the Christian Byzantine Empire. Egypt had pretty much control of Palestine and Syria throughout the 13th century BC during the reign of Ramses II. It was disrupted when the Sea Peoples including the Philistines invaded.

Similar to the Mexicans coming here for the riches, and then claiming they were here long before us and it is their land. We may be fighting them soon.
