It is good news, but I think 4 days a week is a mistake. It should be once a week. Keyes will not be able with this format to have shows with real substance over time, with an in depth discussion of the issues, in part because he won't have time to prepare. It will be more in the nature of the other daily shows, which are more superficial (including superficial argument) and involve lots of political gossip. No doubt the show will start off stong, but I think Keyes will be hard pressed in time to continue to offer fresh and substantive material. We shall see.

You may not be aware of it, but Dr. Keyes did have a cable TV show that was tied to his radio show and I believe it ran for at least a year. He quit when he ran for president. The show was incredible. He took the time to explain concepts and was very effective. I hope he is allowed to control the format.

Hiya, Torie!
This show is not about the breaking news cycle. This show is about, once the facts are in, stepping back and examining the issue to get to the core principle of the dilemma. It's really going to be different, Torie. I hope you'll be watching! You KNOW I'll be hoping you'll become a Keyes fan yourself! LOL
Hugs.

You're right. MSNBC could use the slot as the "conservative hour", that's not fair and balanced, but more than a wink and nod. An hour is a good start. Keyes could be on two nights a week, with other conservatives doing once a week shows. Keyes will trumps Greta.

The job of coming up with new and substantive guests will belong to his producer. If he has a good one, Dr. Keyes will do at least a good a job as they do on Nightline.
