"Although I was already a Keyes fan, watching him make mincemeat of Dershowitz during their "church and State" debate convinced me that this guy needs greater exposure." I saw that debate twice. Keyes totally destroyed DerShitzWitz. I could never tire of hearing a true Constitutionalist, no matter how many times a week he is on.

thanks for the post. Keyes is the only statesmen we have today. Its always amazing to me when so-called conservatives label Keyes a Mussilini. Keyes articulates what conservatives are supposed to believe. So if his extreme ability to articulate the truth separates the men from the boys - so be it. On the other hand, I understand the difference between purists not building large coalitions. But keep this in mind - coalitions are built based on the existing spectrum of thought. If there is no Keyes out there, the whole spectrum is shifted left. Someone made the point - were it not for FOXNEWS, MSNBC would not have made this move. ....my two cents...

When my 4yr old daughter was born, I got the middle of the night feedings and that's where I first saw a lot of Alan Keyes. His morning radio show was rebroadcast on America's Voice and his demeanor was a lot smoother than his appearances on the cable "head" shows. I couldn't get enough, even after my little girl fell back to sleep I would stay up and finish watching his show.
I think the show will do well, he won't be fighting for a word like he has to now on these shows, which makes him seen abrasive. When he has filled in for O'Reilly he has done quite well. I don't think there is anybody as quick on his feet other than Dr Keyes.
I think Keyes will beat that Van nut lady, look at Fox news base audience. Do you think they'll stay there with her or move the dial to see Keyes?

Hoo-yah! Love Alan, now we get to hear him on a regular basis. Thanks Cal;-)

I think you might be right. With Keyes being the host he will not have to be as abrasive and as loud to get a word in edgewise over the other guests and a normally advesarial host. He wont be out numbered 3 to 1 and have to get his points across in 5 minutes against the others.

As one who has taken umbrage at some of Alan Keyes' statements about President Bush, I think it is terrific he has this opportunity. I look forward to him having a long format situation to develop his conservative ideas. There will be some external (network) and internal (drawing out guests, not merely debating/supporting a position) challenges. But he seems a very bright and charming fellow and should do quite well. I particularly look forward to the first interview with Jesse Jackson.

Keys did great for three hours everyday when AMERICA'S VOICE was in existence. When Paul Weyrich got booted so did Alan and after that they let the libs in and the whole network collapsed. I am very excited about this. I'll watch him every day that he is on.

How the hell is Alan Keyes a RINO? If somebody criticizes RINOs, that makes them a RINO?
To: AppyPappy
An educated idiot is still an idiot. Anyone who compares Keyes to Mussolini is on drugs.David Horowitz compares him to Mussolini too. So lets see, that's 2 pretty well known conservatives don't don't live and die on every little word the little idiot spouts...
Hey Hank, if you want to see a fire breathing hell and damnation preacher come to Texas. They're a dime a dozen and that's all the little Keyster is.

Wonderful! I know what I'll be doing each night at 10pm,
(sleeping and letting my vcr tape the show)

Hurrah! Will alert some of the "troops" in Aloha-land to tune in at 5pm HST. :-)

I'm a huge admirer of Keyes. I first heard him speak at the March for Justice, and I was very impressed with his passion and advocacy......and his shots at Clinton..but hosting a nightly one hour show is a slightly different animal, and Alan will have to reach out to a broader audience than his faithful fans...

Thanks, CAL, this was too good to hope for.
The liberal media establishment desperately wants all conservatives to be white, stupid, ignorant, inarticulate, and bigoted. Dr. Keyes will absolutely give them seizures. I can't wait!

Alan Keyes wirh a regular tv show again? Great news indeed! I miss my daily doses of America's wake up call. I have no doubt FOX NEWS will not be king of the time slot as they are signing Gretta {O.J. is innocent} Van Suster for that time slot to take Paula Zaunts place. In any event getting more conservatives on any major network as host is good. Alan Keyes being the one chosen just makes it that much better.
To: Clinton's a liar
Thanks for the heads up! I'm glad the rumour about his show turned out to be true.
It should be a positive thing to have a voice of the constitutional conservatives on the mainstream media. Hopefully many more people will be exposed to the Declaration principles and it will cause them to rethink a lot of their views. It should be good for the national dialogue.
Congratulations to Dr. Keyes and his staff!
To: ArcLight
The guy's so shrill and off-putting I can't imagine him surviving long on TV, unless he learns to tone it down a bit. Keyes will use his show to bash Republicans, and promote HIMSELF and the Democratic leadership in congress.
Keyes will attack the Republicans far more than Whoraldo ever did. NBC hired Keyes to help defeat Bush in 2004. Keyes will do his best.
To: solzhenitsyn
Keyes is to the right what Jesse Jackson is to the left - annoying and typically tuned-out because of his self-serving agenda.

Keyes is one of the most honest spokesman I have ever heard. He has true guts and I can't wait for his show.I agree with you 100%!
To: Common Tator
Keyes should sign me up! I will do everything in my power to also defeat Bush in '04. Democrats cannot hurt the conservative movement, but Bush the Brutus definitely can.
