Those who are coming in here to post a bunch of propaganda to smear Bush or otherwise harm the war effort are going to be deleted.
I guess you missed my posts where I said that I am 100% behind our President and the war. I don't care if it's Ron Paul, Larry McDonald, or the head of the John Birch Society himself. I do not want it on FR. And I do not want a bunch of 40 year old conspiracy crap. Not interested.

There you have it. Free Republic is not an objective reporter of the facts but a blatent supporter of the Bush administrations' war for oil, and by Jim Robinson's own admission.
In another post, Jim states...

Jim Robinson (Free Republic)
by JIM ROBINSON in This thread
Lots of grumbling lately about deleted posts. Well, my friends, the simple truth is the game has changed. We are now at war.
____________________________________________________________
Of course, Jim Robinson has it wrong. We're not at war. Only Congress can state otherwise and there has been no formal declaration of war by anyone. Bush hasn't gone to Congress to ask for such a declaration because that would restore Congress to its role in the balance of powers doctrine on which the nation was founded. Bush has no intention of allowing Congress to second-guess him, and indeed Bush has flat out declared that he will not bother informing Congress of intelligence operations from this point forward as is required by law.
Yes, we have been attacked, but it's not really known by whom. Even the FBI admits the IDs on which they based their accusations were faked using the stolen identities of middle eastern Arabs, some of whom have since turned up alive. From this it should be obvious that we cannot really know who was on those planes, only who we are supposed to blame.
But Jim Robinson isn't interested in these facts. He's spiked threads pointing out that the FBI admitted the IDs used by the hijackers were phony. Jim Robinson has spiked threads about how some of the accused hijackers have turned up alive. Jim Robinson has spiked many of the threads dealing with the Israeli spy scandal and the fact that the US has classified evidence linking some of the arrested Israeli spies with the events of 9/11. Jim Robinson has spiked threads suggestng that Bush has exceeed his constitutional authority. Jim Robinson will tolerate no doubts about the righteousness of Bush's war for oil.
But more than that, Jim Robinson displays an arrogant assumption that the presence of a war justifies anything. He argues that we should get behind the government because (he claims) there is a war. But translate that to Germany of 1939. Was it the right thing for the German people to unquestioningly back Hitler because there was a war on? Or would the German people (and the world) have been better served taking a pause and a closer look at just what the government was doing? And if Germany should have examined their government's claims a lot closer, then how can we not do the same now?
Free Republic has shown its true colors. Jim is "not interested" in facts, only in selling Bush's wars. Free Republic isn't about news any more, only about propaganda.
It's about time someone in the media business edited info to edit out the crap and lies and left the truth in tact.
God says "do not add to my word or take away from my words". I guess He is guilty of censorship, too.
Jim, you're in good company. Keep the truth out there, bud. It's not censorship when you delete the lies. It's responsibility and presenting the truth.
What you call "facts" are opinions and spun-up half-truths. You don't even seem to have a clue what the First Amendment is, or you just choose to ignore what it means.
I had problems with 80% of Rivero's pre 9-11 postings. Lots of far-out induendos, few facts to back them up.
Of course he censors. If he didn't, this site would degenerate in no time to one that thinking people would have to avoid.
This is Jim's house. He sets the rule. If you don't like them..........................so long and farewll.
All Rivero is saying, essentially, is "I don't like what Jim Robinson is doing on his own website".
This is news?
Frankly, I'm often amazed at some of the stuff that is allowed to stay.
So there's no war going on? In order for war to exist, there must be congressional approval? Tell that to the special ops soldiers who have been cave hunting for over three months now. You want to argue semantics? Let's do it. Bush is no longer informing Congress of intelligence operations because they have proven (Democrat and Republican alike) that they cannot keep their big mouths shut. Therefore, were he to continue to inform them, and Congress were to continue leaking information, what could be happening to our WAR effort? Think about it and quit sniveling.
Free Republic is about the free exchange of ideas--to a point. If you have a problem with Bush (as many posters do on FR) than feel free to voice it, but do it in a calm, logical manner and be prepared to back up what you're saying. If you don't wish to get behind our President, then you had damn well better be behind our troops. Those men did not ask for this assignment, they did not ask to be at some Afghanistan airport while their families were celebrating Christmas. It's a crappy life they live over there, and the least we can do is support them.
Jim Robinson is the founder of Free Republic. He receives no pay for running the site, for upgrading its servers or software, or any for political activism. That means he is a volunteer. What he says goes, and if one of us members doesn't like it, then we can post somewhere else. I'll tell you this though--I took the liberty of registering on FR's liberal counterpart, Democratic Underground, and attempted to politely interject some debate on the issues they were discussing. After less than a dozen posts, I was banned. So you tell me who is the more open-minded, the ones who are really guilty of censorship. It's not JimRob. You're barking up the wrong tree and exposing your stupidity for the world to see.
Have A Nice Day,
Future Snake Eater
If you take Jim Robinson's name, translate the characters to Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code then to Hebrew then compare it to a particular page of the Dead Sea Scrolls you will find several things. 1) The actual coordinates to Atlantis. 2) The location of the film cannisters for the fake moon landing. 3) The words "Vincentious Fosterous, mortem, black pants suit. 4)The name of the anti-christ's cousins dog! It's buddy!. 5) The word "norne" is shown several times. HINT: It's spelled backwards.
And there is more! Much more! I'm sure this post will get pulled but I'll keep going! Ever notice that you NEVER see Jim Robinson and Paul Newman together!? And that FreeRepublic is in English! And you HAVE to use a computer to get to this web page! Or that his last name is Robinson and it has 8 letters! Eight! And you know what that means! Put it together! Before it's too late!
An amazing rant from the liberal perspective. My 1st ammendment rights (not your's Jim, mine) trump your's every time, because of course, I am right. I demand the widest possuble possible, at your expense.
How funny to see her expressing this freely, on the web, in plain view to the world, a complete refutation of her 1st ammendment complaint. Jim posted a notice on liberty tree, so did she.
This moronic post should provide evidence enough, but if anyone could spare the time, could you Freepmail me with a brief synopsis of Rivera's story?
Thanks you, now back to the critique of this pathetic post.
DU(H) censors its threads - some posters accuse others of being "freepers" - overtly conservative posters are banned.
In further shocking news all chat fora are monitored and managed by those who own them!
Disruption is a purposely organized activity analagous to "seminar callers" on talk radio.
One may quibble with specific decisions made by FR monitors but, overall, they do alright AFAIC.
Long live J & J Rob - Long live FR - Long live the USA.
LET'S ROLL!!!
