What they are presuming is that I have a better chance of being a thief just because I don't have "golden" credit ... That's BS. There are any number of reasons for bad credit ... layoff sickness, divorce entirely out of the control of the candidate.

I paid $3000 a month in alimony for 6 years ...and we didn't even have kids. The IRS then found it in themselves to disallow most of it on my taxes in an audit !!! By by credit. Got so bad .. I had to have a co-signer just to pay cash

If the government wants to analyze my sewer pipes, they do have a thingy called the cleanout ya know. It's usually in the front of the house somewhere. Very easy to access, unscrew, insert scraper, re-screw, analyze crap. What's with the James Bond approach? Or are you Rube Goldberg?

I agree in principle, but just to play devils advocate, would you want to hire a person to handle your money who was incapable of handling their own? An SEC chairman with large amounts of unexplainable income?

You're assuming guilty until proven innocent. Just because someone has bad credit does not mean that person is "unable" to handle their finances. The IRS is real good at ruining peoples otherwise good credit. Boy do I know
