And speaking of Firetalk, I lost interest completely in Keyes when the lady who worked for him as his ? (I forget what it was called) came to a chatroom there and said that the best thing that could happen for Keyes would be for Gore to be elected. This was in July or August 2000. It made me think that Keyes was being very deliberate in withholding his support for Bush, in hopes that Gore would win. You could have heard a pin drop for two minutes, until certain sycophants began endorsing this strategy. Then things got hot.
Yeah, I saw some posts like that, too. Some of the Buchannan supporters and Phillips and Browne supporters had the same idea. Imagine what horrors might be going on right now, if Gore had been elected.
I don't have much respect for people who would endanger the country and therefore the whole world because they think they know best. You have to know when to stand your ground and when to give ground. Love is not about being pure. It is about being loving. That's where Islam fundamentalists have gone awry -- there obsessed with being pure and love has faded from their awareness.
I see the same with Keyes and his followers. Not to that extreme -- but I'm sure you get the point :)
