Post 399 only says he sent out email 10/22/00 supporting Bush, it does not say when he made the decision to support Bush. The decision to support Bush was made much earlier. If I recollect, his only reservation regarding full fledged support had to do with the pro-life plank in the party platform and this was resolved at the convention.

"If I recollect, his only reservation regarding full fledged support had to do with the pro-life plank in the party platform and this was resolved at the convention." Oh really? Then why, did he not release his delegates at the convention? You do recall that, don't you?

Sue, I was there...Alan endorsed Bush in the days before the convention, and he never turned back from his support of the soon-to-be President thereafter.
It's all just an inventive rewriting of what actually occurred. Fact is, the right flank of the GOP held for Bush (Buchanan managed to peel off almost none)...and that is testimony in itself that the million or so Keyes voters did their part.
Anyways, I don't want to spend my whole night refuting slander...most of it here is so blatantly wrong that honest observers will make up their minds rightly on this issue.

All the evidence is to the contrary. See even the post above yours to me.
