On todays program Benny Hinn announced that he had a vision and the Lord explained to him that the Lord was going to topple the current government of Iran.
He said that the Lord would show favor to the people of Iran because of the assistance Persian Kings gave in rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem [2 Chronicles 36:23,24].
The feed is a video of the "this is your day" program.
If it's GOD, there will be nothing you can do to stop it - if it's not GOD, GOD is more than capable of taking care of it.

Hinn prophisied on Dec 31st, 1989, that the homosexual community would be destroyed by the mid 90's. It did not happen. He confirmed a prophesy by Ruth Heflin (sp?) that Christ would begin to appear on stage with him in hs crusades in a few months...it did not happen. He prophesied that Castro would be DEAD by the end of the 90's...it did not happen. He also predicted a total collapse of the US economy by the mid 90's...did not happen. He predicted the appearance of the anti-christ by the mid 90's....still waiting. Hinn said..."The Spirit of God tells me -- an earthquake will hit the east coast of America and destroy much in the 90's." ...oooops
So...he is a false prophet...and these are all FACTS easily documented. Now...for your statement that you have never heard anything that was inconsistant with God's word. I take it you have not been listening to him much. Here is just one example:
Hinn said: "I place a curse on every man and every woman that would stretch his hand against this anointing; I curse that man who dares to speak a word against this ministry... "
The Bible says in Romans 12:14: "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not."
Back to the "will appear on stage with me" thing. the scripture is very clear that if someone tells you here is the Christ...or he is over there...not to believe them (Matt 24:23-27) and that those who say that Christ is here or there (or will be...like Kenya) before the second coming are false prophets and deceivers.
Does this sound biblical to you?
That's the least of the heresy he peddles while laughing all the way to the bank.
I played an actual audio tape of him out over the AM air waves (same 50,000 watt station that carries Rush) here on one of the local talk shows. I had taped him while he was ranting about wanting to blow his enemies heads off with a "Holy Ghost machine gun", among other bizarre things like he could raise the dead if someone would just take their dead loved one and hold his/her hand on the TV screen while he prayed. I have that phony on lots of tapes in my archives of kook evidence for future reference.
What amazes me is the "following" these kinds of goof balls attract. TBN is full of them. People are looking for "feeling things and experiencing something". Or hearing about whatever the lastest "prophecy" is that one of the pop-culture religious gurus comes up with. (Never mind if none of them ever panned out in the past). They could care less about sound minded, orthodox Bible teaching. That isn't in demand in today's feminized "experiential ministries".
Never mind - don't bother answering my last post. I see you don't put much credence in biblical truth and place your faith in faith. Once one strays from the plumbline of the Word of God, one can fall for anything and everything.
