I am losing faith in O'Reilly!

Didn't agree with him when he talked with Falwell!

All this just in time for the John Walker fiasco. If that guy isn't tried and sentenced quickly, this country could face Buchanan's doom as all the liberal whiners plea for the traitor.

That's too bad. You need to accept O'Reilly for who he is...he's a liberal with integrity.

"Didn't agree with him [O'Reilly] when he talked with Falwell!"

While I like O'Reilly, I've always had him pegged as a social liberal, despite his self-promoting claims of being "neither liberal nor conservative." His weak minded theological "debate" with Falwell confirmed my suspicions. Even if O'Reilly really does believe that "everybody should go to heaven, despite what the bible says," he was playing the mean-spirited liberal with his lame and unsuccessful attempt to goad Falwell into saying that Christianity is harsh and exclusionary.

We got FNC on our cable system back in October. AFAIC, the honeymoon's over. I can take it or leave it. It's only television.

So what you are saying is that you are "losing faith" in someone who doesn't share the same religious beliefs as you? I don't get it. You would simply stop watching someone because they are of a different religion that yours and don't agree with a tenent of your faith. That's just plain stupid if you don't mind me saying so. I disagree with Roberstson and Falwell at times, but I'll still listen to either of them because on the whole I like what they have to say.

What didn't you agree with when Bill spoke to Falwell? I thought it was a great conversation. Geraldo I don't mind so much but Greta. . .well, can't we just have Greedy Zahn back and they can keep Greta.

I absolutely loved how he went right at Falwell! Usually Bill will annoy me with his attitude with guests. I like how he went after Jerry, taking issue with the very UN-Christian attitude of damning "non-believers" to hell. I cannot stand the bigotry and close-mindedness of that particular belief that everyone's damned if they don't march to the same orders as they do. That's as ignorant as Fundamentalist Islam.
